Strong big bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a strong wide mouth duffel bag. It’s made very durable and grantees this bag will last a lifetime. It’s so durable the material is so strong, like an arm bag! This duffel bag has so many components like all the different pockets and it has a strong long strap so you can wear it on your arm or across your body or just carry it by the handles. I like the zippers on this bag they are durable. This duffel bag holds 100 lbs so I can fit so much inside it. I just used it for a hiking trip and I put all my stuff in this one bag 10 stars I’m buying one for my dad! This bag can hold everything!!! Best duffel bag I have ever owned!!! I think it’s priced good and the quality of this bag is amazing!!!

Very sturdy duffel bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alpaca wide/mouth duffel is a very good quality product. The outside fabric is a material that is perfect for camping or fishing or like us taking it to the range. It reminds me of the rucksacks my husband used in the army. I love the added protection of waterproof fabric on the inside. It has several pockets inside and a wide mouth opening. The strap has a padded layer for making it more comfortable for your shoulders when carrying the duffel bag. Overall I’m very impressed by the Alpaca Wide-Mouth duffel. I highly recommend it.

Very spacious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this product through influenster inexchange for my honest review, and this duffel bag has it all. If you're thinking about going camping, to the beach or on a vacation I would recommend buying this bag. Very spacious inside with organizers' sides for all your clothing items. This duffel bag is well made well and sturdy to take on as many items into the bag. It also has a handy carrying strap to help out in case you over pack and need to carry a faster way. Love the color and design on it, and I highly recommend it.

Perfect for solo adventures!

This bag is incredibly spacious and sturdy! I have every intention of using it for car camping trips but what I really love about this bag is its versatility. I’m a photographer and recently used this bag in the rain to transport photo equipment to a job. It saved me from juggling multiple items to and from my car and kept everything dry. I also love how structured it is and kept everything from rolling around in my car even when open. It may not seem like a big deal but these details matter when you’re traveling alone. I fit a full size backpack, tripod, reflectors and still had plenty of space for other items. I highly recommend this bag for any fellow solo car adventurers!

Cavernous bag with different style of opening

I received this product for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The first thing I noticed about this bag is how it opens up. It's capable of opening very wide because of the hinge type motion the zippered opening makes. Its cavernous. Which alowed me to really pack my bag fullbvery easily. It had plenty of room for a three day weekend. I found the strap comfortably held the bag at my side. The shape of the bag lends itself to not rolling. The material feels durable and seems like it will handle wear and tear. The zippers are very thick and feel strong. The zipper has T shaped handles that make closing a packedbag very east. It only has one small zipper pocket on the outside of the bag. It's big enough for a phone, battery bank, and cables. The shape of the bag took some getting used to, for me. Overall this is a solid bag and will do well as a gear bag or multi-day duffle style bag. It's become a new favorite for me. I found the opening very convenient, but can see others not liking it as much. So test it out in person if you get a chance!

Great built bag, but some drawbacks

This duffle is well constructed, thought out, and useful. I've tried various loadouts in it, from camping gear to cycling gear and even packed it up as a travel bag. While it handled all of them, there are some caveats. The first caveat, it is a bulky bag when empty, when carried, and when full... it can get very heavy. If you empty it out, the structure that makes it wide mouth keeps it firm on length, but also makes it stay basically the same size no matter what is inside it (full or not). The second, how the straps attach is super slick (having the semi-hidden attachment), but also results in it being somewhat difficult to carry. Hard to explain, but it sort of creates an offset angle and when the bag is full, makes it stick out considerably from your side. The third, while I mentioned it holds any of those loadouts fine, the rigidity becomes problematic for travel and won't fit in the TSA sizing basket appropriately, but also isn't really the type of thing you want to check. When you have items in the bag that are more "pokey", you feel them through the bag, especially as you add more weight. Overall though, I like it as long as you are planning on 1) working out of it / wanting to keep items in it and grab what you need then go... the wide opening works awesome for this; 2) plan on just tossing it in a vehicle as part of gear transport rather than using it in a more mobile / human carry situation.

Seriously the best big bag!

This is the perfect bag for car camping trips! It’s big enough to haul all my bulky gear — tent, stove, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, clothes, camp chair — and then some! Not only does it help keep my trunk organized, it has great organization pockets on its interior, a rare feature for a duffel bag. The pockets have saved me so much time finding small items, like my headlamp, in my bag. The zippers are super sturdy so you can really pack it to the brim, but if you do go over its capacity, you can leave the top open and use it like a basket without losing any of the functionality. I also couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and construction of the bag, I have no problem tossing it on the ground to unpack it when I get to camp.

Great size and easy to pack; quality materials

Took this on a car camping trip and a couple of short overnight road trips. Love the perfect size of this kinda-duffel bag: not too big to get super-heavy, but big enough to store all the essentials. The frame stays opening for filling it up--makes a huge difference when in a rush or handling multiple items quickly. Quality materials throughout. Interior zippered pockets for smaller items that you need to find quickly.

All in one duffle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The duffle is larger than I expected but even then I couldn’t have ever imagined how much stuff this can actually hold. It opens so wide and has a lot of inner storage. The fabric is durable enough to use as a camping bag, but could easily be utilized for a weekend of travel. It would hold everything you could possibly need, including shoes and toiletries! I’m super impressed and cannot wait to utilize this more.
