[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this jacket, very comfortable and warm in the intense cold.
My Denali is a really nice jacket - attractive cut, good materials, and well made. I especially like the adjustable hem and excellent hood. The chest pocket does NOT have a zipper closure as advertised, however - just a small Velcro tab. This doesn’t securely seal the pocket, and the contents could fall out rather easily, so it’s not something you would use for a phone, a wallet, or other valuables. That’s not a huge concern for me, as there is a good interior pocket that was not mentioned in the description, so that’s a bonus which makes up for the exterior pocket. The sleeves are rather short for me, but that is somewhat expected - I’m 6”3”, 220 pounds, and ordered an XL.
A rather lumpy jacket with stiff material. You'd be better off with a nano-puff or down jacket layered with something rainproof.
little rain water gets inside of the jacket I can feel the water in my body
Nice jacket, well designed with removable hood. But it runs large - I wear M but this felt closer to L. Small size is not available so need to return.
Well made but so far I’ve only worn it in moderate rain and windless Santa Ana conditions.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First the good: for the price, this is a stellar jacket. It's warm down to near zero so far. The removable hood is convenient. Again, for the price, this is a great jacket. Using it in an active setting, the lining is getting scratched very easily. The zipper gets a little stuck. Again though, this is a fantastic value coat. I'm curious to see how it handles the wear and tear of longer-term usage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me first say I think I just got a bad coat. I returned the coat . The zipper was offline. From the images online I expected a coat with the warm cotton inlay not the puffy coat in life. A better image or description would be helpful for my next attempt to make a purchase of a heavy warm coat. Thank you
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perfect jacket for moderately cold winter weather. I own a green and black one and they are my go to gear in temps from 0 - 45 F. The hood is easily removed and replaced when needed. It seems mostly waterproof, although I have not pushed it to the limits yet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's something very ironic about a brand called Free Country having their product made in China. Jacket fits and is what I was looking for from a warmth perspective. We'll see if it holds up.
