Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and Âľ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Soft and flattering all around tank top
I absolutely love this shirt and wear it multiple times per week to the gym, running, hiking, as a skiing base layer. The wide sleeves and high collar are features that I love as someone with a larger chest. I feel covered up during movement with a fit that still looks flattering. This shirt is a little shorter than the previous version of the REI hiking tanks that I own and I really like the shorter length and side slits, they reduce hugging around the side and again lead to a flattering fit and increased comfort. The shirt is SO soft and after washing it 20 times it has not lost any of its soft texture or fit. It wicks so well, I consistently wear it to high intensity workout classes and can hardly notice the sweat at the end of the class. I would highly recommend this product and plan to buy one in every color because I love it so much!
cute running/walking/hiking top
Overall love this top!! The color is nice, the fabric is super soft and comfy. The cut of the top is also great for hiking, as it provides a little bit of shoulder and chest coverage and is very comfortable to wear with a backpack because its a nice barrier between skin and straps that sometimes chafe. Only minor con with the top is that it shows sweat, but only when you sweat a lot.
Comfy but not great for sweaty exercise
I wore this tank to a HIIT workout class and to watch the Indian Wells tournament in Palm Springs. The tank does not absorb sweat well and showed my chest and back sweat very noticeably. It was also not great at sweat wicking for my forehead. This is a good tank for casual wear, walks, or light activity where you don’t expect to sweat a lot. The fit is a little oversized and the length is good.
Best clothing product line at REI!
I can't tell you how much I love the Sahara line of products from REI. They have exceptional quality for a relatively low price. The material in this tank top is highly durable, while still being light-weight and soft. The shape is comfortably loose without looking bulky or shapeless.
Inferior to Previous Version
I have this shirt in multiple colors from the previous year, as well as the Sahara tank. The quality just isn’t as good this time around. The fabric is so thin on the green top that I can see the whiteness from the printed laundry/care instructions through to the other side. Loose threads were present all along one of the side seams. The thinner material makes it look tighter and less flattering on. It’s also not as soft and has a bit of an off putting smell to it. Sometimes a refresh on a product is a good thing, not in this case. Returning, and disappointed in it overall.
A staple piece
This is a great top for layering or worn alone in warmer weather as the material is buttery soft and lightweight. The neckline is slighter higher than a regular crew and the fit is relaxed through the middle. It has a shorter fit, so may be best for shorter or regular torsos depending on your preference. Worn under a lightweight fleece, it was breathable on a short hike. The price point makes it a great staple to have in multiple colors!
Sahara Tank is a WINNER!
Living in Florida where it's always hot and humid, this Sahara Tank Top is a winner! It has a loose fit and is able to wick sweat and keep you dry throughout any workout. The fabric feels almost like silk and is very comfortable against the skin. It's lightweight and great for any activity.
Great colors and comfortable under a sweater
I am a very small woman. I ordered one in four different amazing colors in XS. The fit was perfect. They are great alone or under a light sweater.
Practical, Inexpensive, Comfortable Summer Shirt.
Very soft and comfortable fabric. Great for a very warm day. Armholes are not too big, which can be a problem for me. Great shirt for travel.
Silky smooth
This top is super comfortable and is easy care. It is silky smooth and soft and light weight. it is definitely not white--it is creamy with light beige pattern and is pretty.
