LOVE THIS!
I don’t think people understand how “reflective” works. Once the light is on it, it’s unmistakable. I’ve had 2 different people stop their car to compliment the leash. I also use light up collars but sometimes they die (or their visibility drastically reduces when they have low battery). This is a great supplemental item.
Well made, but reflective only on one side
This leash feels study and the clasp is heavy and secure, but I have two minor critiques. This leash is made with recycled tires, which is a nice feature, as opposed those tires going to a landfill. One drawback to using the tires is that the leash has a very soft, springy feel to it - which my dog cannot resist chewing on (he is not much of a chewer normally, and never on leashes). If you have a dog that is a little mouthy or likes to chew, they might also be tempted by this leash. One other draw back to this leash is that the reflective material is only on one side. It is still the most reflective leash I could find, just not quite what I anticipated.
Fantastic product!
We got this as a waterproof leash option and love it. The whole product seems very well made, the reflective fabric works great, and the cherry on top is the fact that it’s made with a recycled bicycle tube! Even though we got this for rainy days, it has become our go-to leash for everyday walks. Absolutely recommend.
Only bright if headlight is directly shining on it
Only bright when a light is directed at the leash otherwise it’s a dull gray. The photo shows a shiny bright leash but it’s more gray. It also smells like bike tires which makes sense because it’s made out of tires but I didn’t like the smell. The smell also transfers to whatever it’s on. It does seem to be made well tho.
Nope. Looks nothing like the picture.
The product I received looked nothing like the picture, it’s more of a dull gray instead of a shiny reflective material. I will be returning.
Not for dogs that tend to chew
Waterproof, but not dog proof! Because the the leash is made of an old bicycle inner tube, if your dog has the slightest tendency to chew, it will quickly become useless! Ours is no longer usable after two weeks.
