My go-to for variable conditions

I've been x-c skiing for decades, including skate skiing, and have plenty of experience. I wanted a ski that could break trail and handle well down an icy slope (i.e. metal edges), but still be pretty springy and quick on the flats. These fit the bill and then some. I love them so much! They are my go-to play skis. I won't be winning any races but when a ski is this fun, you go out more, no matter the conditions. They say they are for intermediates, which makes sense, but they are also the perfect addition to an experienced skier's quiver.

Loved them!

Took this out yesterday and they were great! I’ve never had metal edges or fish scales before. The edges were fantastic for downhill control and I was pleasantly surprised how well the fish scales worked for grip on the up hills.

Great XC choice: on piste and backcountry

Great exercise for me and my dog! Through the forest, uphill and downhill; skis are playful, rigid when needed and the edges are great for turning. Super reliable. Great XC ski choice for backcountry.
