Want stretchy comfort? These aren't for you!
When I'm snowboarding or playing in the snow, I really appreciate pants with stretch for all-day comfort. Unfortunately the REI description says "They offer stretch comfort" which isn't true. The pants are well-made and have some heft to them, but are unforgiving with movement, so I'll be returning them.
Perfect pants
Warm and waterproof! Also I love the adjustable waist- I have a small waist and muscular things/behind. I’m a size 4/6 and the Small works perfectly! I’m 5-9 and the Small is also long enough.
Needs stretchy waistband
I’m 5’3” and 150 lbs with a curvy body. I normally wear size 8, so I tried both M and L. The M was just one inch too small for the waist, and the L was huuuuge. I wish they came with stretchy waistband. Both pants were way too long too, wish there was a Velcro at the bottom to stop the pant from falling below the boots. Otherwise, these pants were very light to wear and quite comfy, not heavy and restrictive like other snow pants. The color was true to picture too.
Fun pants for the slopes
These pants are so cute! I was hesitant to order the small as a 5'2 athletic build where jeans can be a struggle to find the perfect fit. I also ordered the XS. The XS fit but was a bit too tight in the legs but a better length. Ultimately went with the S. They do adjust at the waistband which is an amazing feature and I figure the length would be fine with ski boots. Lots of great pockets and vents as well!

Great snow pant, fun pattern
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fun pattern that is still fairly neutral. I tried a few styles and sizes. I ultimately kept these in a small, as the XS buttoned but were tight and I wondered how comfortable that would be for a full day of snowboarding. I wish there was a mesh lining where the leg vents are, but they are a great pant at a great value.
Waste would be better with actual Elastic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I overall like these pants, but the waist adjustability does not work well for me. I have an older pair an extra small that are quite tight with my fleece leggings underneath so I ordered a small which is a size 6, and too loose in the waist when I try to tighten it, it just creates a lot of weird bunching in the back
Size Up - other than that they are great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally ordered these in a small (I'm 5'8" and 125) because I wear a small (4) in most pants/all brands. I could hardly get them buttoned so had to order a medium. Once I got the right size, I really like them. They are warm without being too thick.
Decent Ski Pants
So, I’ve got two sizes - M and S. I’m 5’9, reg body. Strangely, M was too big, too loose, and S fits fine, but I wish the waist wasn’t that tight. Will keep the S. Therefore, 4 stars. I haven’t tried them on a slope yet, hope will be warm enough
Very satisfied
I bought these for my daughter and she loved them - fit great and looked stylish on the slopes. However, on her first fall, the knee ripped. She is not sure how it happened, but I'm wondering if there is a patch I can get to have them repaired?
