The North Face  FD Pro 160 Base Layer Tights - Women's

Difficult review because I am not sure my expectations matched this product. I thought these would be like all the other tights / shorts I have ordered before (North Face is the best of the variety I use - Lululemon, Athleta, Craft, Helly Hansen.) But, these aren't really like the other tights I own. They are very thin, but also minimal stretch. So they aren't providing much in the way of warmth and they don't move well. They bag at the knees and calves. I wore them, so I am going to keep them - but I think their only purpose might be spring skiing. They have enough give for warm weather skiing - but definitely not for yoga.

The material is not giving at all. I'm a true medium in all NF products, but these did not fit waist wise, length wise, or around my leg wise. I am 5'7 and the leggings ended a bit above my ankles and did not fit tight to skin. I'm not sure how these would be used for base layers during activities as they're stiffish. I had a friend, who's also a medium, try them on to validate and they did not fit her as well. As a loyal NF buyer, these are not it. It's not just the sizing, it's the material/stretch. A large wouldn't even do it. Returning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first North Face base layer. Very comfortable and warm as a base layer under snow pants while skiing. Fit well yet not too tight and stay in place-don't have to hike them up. Love the design and got the matching coat.

I wear a size 16 which is a xl I had to order a size up xxl runs small love fabric and comfortable

Comfortable every day legging wear. Great material to work out in or just to wear daily!
