Right size for mid-length rides

I bought this pack to replace my 15-year old 6L hydropack. The Raptor 10 has ample storage and good strapping placement for all the right adjustments. I've used this mountain biking as well as snowboarding and it's been working very well - it does not move around much and the shape is comfortable and even fully loaded distributes the weight nicely. The valve can get challenging to turn in the cold, but other than that, I would recommend this pack for other MTBers.

I love the Raptor 10

I love the Raptor 10 by Osprey. The pack is the perfect size for a day ride on a MTB. It has all the pockets and places to store your gear just where you need them. Great hydration bladder as well. Easy to fill with water and as well as a powder mixes. Breathes nicely on your back. What can I say. I'm a big fan of this pack and of the Osprey packs in general. I now own 4 packs for various activities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was going on a multi day bike packing trip and needed a 2.5L Hydration Pack that could also carry a bunch of stuff comfortably. I did some research and this bag was exceptionally well reviewed so I figured I'd try it. The bag lives up to all the hype and absolutely delivered! So happy with it, absolutely worth the money. Very comfortable even after 12 hour days and 5 days in a row!

Raptor 10 is a great compact backpack

I've been using the Raptor 10 for several months as a hunting backpack and also while training my dog in the woods. I have used it a few times every week for months now and it has performed excellently. I have a small collapsible water bowl for my dog that clips on the bag and is so handy when we are on long runs in the woods and open fields. It holds plenty of water for both of us during our outings. The bag carries a couple of dummy birds, gloves and hat. And the waist band carries plenty of treats. I haven't used all the space in this bag and is still room which I'll use for shotgun shells during hunting season. This bag fits perfectly in the center of my back and is small enough where it doesn't interfere when having to go over and under downed trees and through heavy brush or crossing small streams. It doesn't interfere when shouldering a rifle. It's not even showing any signs of wear. This has been one of my better buys in sporting equipment. Get it!

Needs a side pocket.

The size and capacity are perfect. I bought this after returning a Talon 11 because it was too big. The Raptor 10 has half the capacity of the Talon. The capacity measurements are a joke. My one problem with the Raptor is there is no side water bottle pocket. There is not a good way to have bear spray readily accessible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost perfect. Great fit and features. Best hydration bladder out there by far. However, zipper corrosion is problematic in humid east coast conditions requiring frequent cleaning to prevent. That said, this is the best pack out there.

I really like the pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the pack. 8 out of 10. I would like a little smaller. The quality is the best out of all the different brands. I love the zipper for the tube. Very convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that you put the tool pouch on the bottom to lower the weight. But I still like a Bigger stretch pouch on the back for extra jacket, gears n beers etc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving this pack. Excellent fit. I hardly noticed I was wearing it. Plenty of of space for action camera accessories in main compartment.
