Easy breezy

I bought this kayak one month ago and have inflated and deflated it four different times using only the hand pump provided. It was super easy. It also fits into the bag with absolutely no difficulty. In addition, the kayak is very comfortable. It tracked well on the lake, even though it was a windy day with whitecaps. I am a petite 62 year-old female. 5’5” weighing 130 pounds.

We love our new kayaks!

We had been looking for a kayak that would be maneuverable but also easy to transport. This kayak fits the bill perfectly! What fun we had in the Sierras, exploring lakes with our wonderful new kayaks!

Everything you want in a kayak!!!

I have three different kayaks, all different brands. I love this Advanced Elements kayak. At 5’9” I find it has plenty of room and is a breeze to get in and out of. It can handle just about anything. I took it down the upper Willamette through some dicey class II rapids. It took a beating on some rocks and snags and performed flawlessly. For anyone worried about inflatable durability — don’t. It fits in the trunk of my tiny two seat convertible. No lifting it over my head and strapping on a rack. 10/10!

A great upgrade

I have had an Advanced Elements Loon for a number of years and decided I wanted to upgrade my experience. I originally thought the ultralight would be the next option but after receiving the kayak and unpacking it I was frustrated with all the parts, quality of the fabric and how it inflated. So I went back to looking and decided to try the Sport. I’ve had the Sport on the water 4 times. I like how it tracks. It handles well. It is easy to inflate. I don’t like the inflatable floor and miss the black mat from my loon. I found the inflatable floor sticky on a warm day, didn’t stay inflated and with the seat not supportive enough. Plus it added extra weight to carrying the kayak suitcase that it comes in. So at this point I’m exploring other floor and seat options to make it a better fit. Inflation was quick and easy, it does not take long to be ready and on the lake. I also like that it weighs under 30 lbs. I wish that it was in more of a backpack for trekking into ponds, it would be easier so I make less trips to the van for paddles, life jacket and other things.

Inflatable kayak

Using a manual/or electric pump to inflate or deflate kayak very easy. Less than 10minutes. Easy to transport in carrying bag, only 26lbs. Comfortable to handle on lake and bay even with high winds and waves. Enjoyable and fun.

Perfect kayak for transporting in your car

I Highly recommend this kayak. I bought one and liked it enough I bought a second one for my girlfriend. It assembles easily and quickly and has held up to several years of use. I normally only use it on flat water, I'm too nervous to take it on whitewater since a sharp rock might cut the canvas.
