Paddles well in a variety of conditions

We purchased two of these for my husband and I. Inflation is quick and easy. We have paddled on lakes, rivers, and ocean. Were impressed with how this kayak handled the waves. They pack back down easily and fit into the bag. Only issue we have had is it can sometimes be challenging to slide the fins on and off.

Kokopelli Platte: Vinyl failed
Used the kayak probably 6 to 8 times after purchasing. While I really liked the way the kayak handled and how light weight it was, the vinyl failed the first time I packed it away for a trip. It ripped on opposite sides of the kayak where a fold was. I had a Sea Eagle 370 with less quality/thinner vinyl and that only punctured once after about 8 years of use so I was surprised the Kokopelli vinyl failed simply from packing it down within only a couple months of ownership. I also noticed manufacturing blemishes that suggests their QC needs some work. Not risking another failure so I returned it and went with another brand.

Great light weight kayak

We bought two! We finally got to take them out on a lake yesterday! Super easy to pump up. Light weight enough to carry down the slope to the water. Getting in was a breeze! The separate pontoons made it very stable to get in and out of. We glided on the water and didn’t ever feel it was going to tip. Super easy to maneuver, the fins really help with tracking. It is firm like a sup, but comfortable to sit in. My husband used his to fly fish! Great product!
