Solid Coffee Shop Cup Holder
This is a solid cup holder specifically designed for coffee shop style cups. I use a reusable Starbucks cup in mine. It does not fit my yeti or tervis style tumblers well, but it might work in a pinch. I think you need to have realistic expectations for carrying a cup of coffee on a bike. A full cup will spill on you and your bike - but I can’t fault the design for that. I bought it so that I could leave the coffee shop with a half-finished coffee without having to quickly down it or throw it away. If you are trying to solve a similar problem, I recommend this. Picture shows it installed on my Cannondale Quick 5. I bought the smaller version and put it on the tapered end of the handlebars.
Yeti's don't fit well
So, many of us have Yeti Tumblers. I have the smaller one, 20 oz, and I use it daily for my coffee. It's the perfect size. I bought the Bar-Ista expressly for my Yeti mug. But...barely fits, and I'm not so sure I want to try using it with the Yeti on even a moderately bumpy road. Their advertising needs to be more explicit as to what it will fit, because the picture they use is misleading.
works perfectly
I don’t understand the negative reviews elsewhere. This works perfectly… with tapered cups. Fits my DrinkTanks and Hydro Flask pint glasses and 20oz cups. No wiggles or wobbles, survives sidewalk cracks and upheaved concrete edges.
Made for coffee
I thought it was a water bottle holder but it’s for coffee
