A note from Portland Design Works: The Lucky Cat bottle cage was designed in collaboration with first-generation Asian American artist Jake Tong, whose work is heavily influenced by Chinese, Korean and Japanese pop culture. The design is inspired by the maneki-neko "beckoning cat," a figure that originated in Japan and is said to bring good luck. The "Lucky Cat" name comes from China, where the maneki-neko is referred to as "zhaocaimao" ("lucky cat" or "wealth-bringing cat").

Works great and is secure

This is a cute water bottle cage and it lets me pull it out to the side. Since I am right handed, I pull water bottles out with my right hand so this cage is best situated on the down tube of the bike. If you put it on the seat tube you will need to use the left hand to pull out the bottle. This cage holds the water bottle securely, while the water bottle is easy to remove. I use this for road cycling, so I don't know how securely it will work for off road biking.

Makes my rides luckier.

This lucky cat has kept me safe and brought me luck on my rides. Meow! A bit loose on most of my 20 oz metal water bottles (yeti, kleen Kanteen, hydra flask, eco vessel), so I hear rattling on bumpy roads. Other than that it’s great.

Makes me smile

I'm a pretty practical person so this cage almost seemed too fanciful for me, but the ability to pull out my water with one hand is awesome.

So cute and functional.

Got the black cat because my CO-OP bicycle is matte black. White would have been fun. So glad I bought it. Holds my water bottle perfectly, several bottles of different sizes will fit. The arm is kinda flexible to fit different diameters. I’m right handed, so pulling out the water bottle is easy and swift. Super cute, too. The cage was easy to put on. Fit and ready to go. I think it adds just a little jazz to my ride. It makes me smile.

This cage is right handed

Wish I had realized this cage is right handed. Also the bolts hex size is smaller than any Allen key I have, would be better if it came with one

Very cute bottle cage!

I love the design, but this was missing a bolt when it was shipped to me (and it also arrived late :/ but that's not the actual product's fault). Anyways, it's true to the image online and it's relatively lightweight.

Great kids bottle cage.

My granddaughter loves it and finds her water bottle is easy to pull out and put back in. It is a little pricey though.
