Too tight waist band
I have run 3-5miles 3x in these shorts and have to say the only, yet major drawback, is the tightness of the waistband. I really like the fabric, it is soft and flowy. The fit and inseam length are great, with the shorts staying put while in motion - no creeping up the thighs or backside. The waistband is narrow and uncomfortably tight. I am thinking of cutting a slit in the side of elastic to see if it will be more comfortable. I am 5'1" and 110lbs with athletic thighs. I tried on both the S & XS, and kept the XS as the S were too large / droopy for me.
Cute, but unimpressive
I love the print of the Lavender Squiggle - a shout out to the 90s seamless geometric patterns that's easy to wear and fun to look at. While cute and comfortable, the Swift Lite shorts have a strange fit. Too fitted to be classic track shorts, but not fitted enough for a leg day at the gym. The Swift Lite shorts had a rough time on the trails, and struggled to stand up to any close-knit technical terrain with rocks or branches. OR's soft fabric choice is comfortable but prone to snagging, so not the best choice for any route with close quarters.
So comfortable!
Very light and comfortable. Doesn't restrict movement and great for those hotter days. Small zipper pocket is perfect for keys. I wouldn't mind another inch or two on length but that is a personal preference. Overall, these shorts have worked well for my runs and well worth the the purchase.
Great shorts!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Done a couple of 6-hour, Vancouver, BC, summer hikes in these and I love them! They're super light, comfortable and quick drying. I'm really enjoying the elastic waistband. It does have a tiny pocket on one side, but I wish it had bigger pockets on each side. Other than that, it's perfect.
