Fine, but not great
I like these shorts because they are super light weight and short - you barely feel them at all. They have a draw string that you can actually tie, not like the weird single loop ones. I'm removing two stars because the underwear liner (a feature that I don't care for in general, but put up with because they are on basically all running shorts) doesn't have enough butt coverage. I'm moving, I need it to cover my butt cheeks and stay put. I would probably remove another star if I didn't wear underwear while running, but the extra layer prevents wedgies. I can't speak to pockets, as I don't carry anything with me while I'm out.
I like but don’t love
I have another pair of OR shorts where the waistband is the same material as the shorts and now I know that’s my preference. These shorts are great aside from the waistband. It’s a little scratchy and also, the zip pocket points towards the back instead of the front.
lightweight, perfect for summer running
Fabric is perfect!!! Cut is perfect! Wish they put the waist tie on the outside- but its find. The side zippered pocket fits my iphone 13- superb size for those who need gel packs on their runs. At first I thought the waist band was scratchy- it is- but it doesn’t bother me on runs so its fine. Hope they go on sale i’d like another pair. I wear 6 or 8 in pants
