Good step-up from micro spikes

Good traction for hiking in winter conditions on moderate slopes. I like that snow doesn't bunch up on the bottom, and that these are available with classic strap bindings. I nice step up from micro spikes without going to more technical crampons that are sharper and require specific boots for their bindings. They provide more than adequate traction for hiking over snow and ice.
