Nice shorts for casual and active scenarios.
These are a comfortable and lightweight short that I love to now wear. Before the pandemic, most shorts and pants I had were more firm materieals from brands like Carhart which did hold up but didn't ever get into punishing situations with abrasion. Pandemic sets in and so many people isolated at home or dressed down. Now that I've been back in the office and going out more I wanted shorts that both look nice but were comfortable to wear and not as restrictive feeling when I compared them to my older shorts and pants. I wanted some shorts like this that I can feel comfortable cycling around town in and while I haven't truly road tested these on 80+ degree days, I know they are going to be acceptable for those summer cycling nights I like to do. I've tried a couple different shorts from brands like Perl Izumi for cycling and casual around town wear and these sort of remind me of those. Nice enough to wear in most cases but super comfy and practical. They may not feel the thinnest but that's okay, the only odd thing about them is the belt included. I did like that its light and doesn't have a metal clasp in the front like other shorts I've bought. However the mechanism is a bit odd yet simple to operate. You sort of need to push the opposing ends toward the center to release the clasp for the belt. It was a bit odd to me at first but still seems to function fine after multiple wears and washes
