Poor design, hard to use, difficult to adjust
This kickstand is designed to keep the front wheel slightly off the ground. This allows the wheel to swing around. There is no way around this. The only adjustment would lift the wheel up even higher Deploying or stowing the kickstand requires lifting the HEAVY ebike off the ground. This can be inconvenient at times. The kickstand can easily come loose, but takes an unusually large Allen wrench to tighten.
Works great - and mucbetter with a stabilizer
I have this kickstand and it works fine! Just want to add it really helps to get a "front wheel stabilizer" (from Benn, it's just a spring that attaches to existing mount points) that helps keep the wheel pointed straight when its on the kickstand. My chain did snap after installing this..maybe ask your bike shop if you should add a link to your bike chain.
So far so good!
Coming from the road bike scene, this stand takes some getting used to. It's been very practical over all. Wish it had some rubber feet but otherwise it was easy to install and does the job. Glad to have bought it.
