Cotopaxi  Capa Hybrid Insulated Hooded Jacket - Women's

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this online. I love the colors and have a number of other items from Cotopaxi that I love. This jacket is so lightweight. The puffer part for the torso is extremely thin. The material on the arms isn't much heavier than a long sleeve t-shirt. I live in Minnesota and I'm always outdoors. I have a winter jacket for the coldest part of the year but was looking for something to fit the 40 to 50° days and this is absolutely perfect. This definitely isn't for anything below freezing but will be my go to for Spring and Fall! The thinner material of the sleeves will make it hard to layer with a sweatshirt without looking clumpy but a regular under layer works fine with it. I'm 5'7, around 135 lb and a Medium fits like it was made just for me!

I love my jacket. It’s turquoise and I get several compliments on the color as it’s bright as is common with the brand, but more conservative. It’s easy to travel with because it’s light weight, looks good and keeps me warm. I’m love it!!

I’ve been looking for a jacket that could serve my outdoor activity needs while also looking good enough to wear casually. This is all of that and more! It’s true to the high quality I’ve come to expect of Cotopaxi apparel, plus it’s light weight, stretchy for maximum mobility when needed, and it looks SO good! The waffle-type backing on the sleeves, hood, and side panels as stretch and moisture wicking while still feeling warm. I was between a small and medium (size 6, 140 lbs, 5’8”), but I went with a medium which fits perfectly with just enough room for an extra layer underneath if needed. It’s expensive, but since it will serve a couple purposes so perfectly, I think it’s absolutely worth it!

I needed a last-minute fall jacket for a trip to London. I knew it would be a bit chilly, but I would also be walking several miles a day. This jacket proved to be the perfect answer! Breathable but warm when needed to be! And on top of all that…so stylish!

I own nine of these hybrid hoodies, all in size medium, and have loved them for years. I recently purchased two from the current year’s color offerings, and the fit has changed drastically. The medium now fits more like a large - possibly even an xtra large - and the cut has lost its feminine silhouette. It’s noticeably boxy compared to previous seasons. This is really disappointing - especially given the price point of these jackets, even when purchased on sale. Now my only option is to pay out of pocket to return them and size down to a small - or even extra small. It’s a risk either way. Please do better, Cotopaxi. Consistency matters.

Light weight but warm and breaks the wind. The sleeves are very light weight/hybrid, but lined with a soft thin layer of a waffled fleece which makes them feel so soft and cozy without any bulk! Love it!
