A bit short in the torso, fragile straps
I do not have a long torso and this barely fits. It's something I've been finding a lot with bathing suits the past two or so years? Also I am solidly a size 10 and generally a L in most clothes but go down to medium never up to an xl when sizing is off. This suit definitely runs small. I don't have the issue with it being too cheeky but I also prefer a more cutout cheeky style. It's not risqué or anything too revealing though. The straps are so thin and with it barely being long enough I feel the straps will break. They're very delicate. I have found Vuori is getting smaller and smaller which is concerning. Like why? The joggers I used to order in Medium with lots of room now are way too tight in Medium and large fits well. Shorts I used to wear in Large don't fit but XL is too big. Something is up with their sizing and it's not great.
Size up if you have a longer torso
Based on the size chart I should be a size small but I was skeptical given that I'm 5'8" and have had problems with one pieces being long enough for my torso in the past. I took a chance and ordered a medium. This was the right call! It seems well-made with a flattering cut. The cut is more 'cheeky' than some people might prefer, fits about how it looks on the model. The chest on the medium fit me well (I'm size 34C) but would be tight if any bigger.
Very little rear coverage!
I got the red one, and I LOVE the color. Unfortunately, I was right to be concerned about the rear coverage. Way too revealing, and the chest area sort of bulged out where the elastic is, but that could be because I have a small chest. It's too bad, bc it's a really nice looking suit, and it seems well made.
don’t order unless you want a used one
I ordered this online and just got it in the mail. Upon opening the bag and taking the bathing suit out it was inside out and notices that the person that ordered it last used it because she left some discussing white discharge in the bathing suit so I was never able to try it on. REI should check on this before shipping used clothing to another customer
Flattering
This suit is very flattering on. I like the look of the back. However, I purchased a M and it fit good except for my chest, was too small (5'7, 135 lbs, 34D) I suggest you size up if you are larger on top.
Save u the trouble
Great fabric but dont buy if you have long torso. regular torso ,if you have a belly or large chested. The straps and thin afraid it might break. Style is nice just for someone slim and has a short torso.
