Simple and just what I needed
I use these straps to keep my paper towels from unraveling while they are hanging in my car. They work perfectly, and still look brand new after numerous times of use.

Weaker than wet tissue paper
Didn't last a week. These are extremely light duty and do not hold up to any twisting forces or weight. I tried to use these to hold a bike lock in place and the first one ripped

Very Handy, Effective Straps

Went to the REI Manhattan Beach, CA, location looking for an inexpensive, simple way to secure my folding hiking poles to the outside of my Deuter daypack. An employee helped me select this item, used both 18"straps, to secure my poles vertically along the center outside line of the pack in just a minute or two. Quick solution, great service.

Fragile and poorly constructed

I used these once to carry a dry bag on top of my rear bike rack - worked great. After the ride, I noticed one was torn where the “hook” part of the Velcro is sewn onto the “loop” part. I tugged at it and it fully separated instantly. When I realized how delicate these are, I pulled at the other strap in the same spot and it separated like pulling off a wet band aid. I can’t believe how poorly designed these are - these are not designed to last whatsoever for use with anything weighing more than a few ounces. Thankfully they didn’t rip on my ride. You’re better off using shoelaces.

junk

Broke on first use. The point where it transitions from the hook Velcro to loop Velcro is melted rather than sewn in. This can maybe handle 2-3 pounds of force.

Careful not to pull too tight on these.

Careful not to pull too tight on these. I snapped one right where the hook and loop velcro meet. I was just trying to pull it tight, but maybe a little too much for these little guys. At least they give you two of them. One down, one to go.

Cinch is made of brittle plastic

The cinch portion is made of weak plastic. You really can't put much force on it before it breaks.
