Way better than a pad

I decided to go with this cot after trying numerous sleeping pads, some cheap, some expensive, but none comfortable. I always would toss and turn all night trying to get comfortable and wind up sore in the morning. This cot is great! I can finally go to bed and sleep through the night. It also gets you off the ground for those cold nights or when its raining which is great. I've taken it camping maybe a dozen times now. It feels sturdy, goes together easy, and packs up nicely into the small carry bag. Highly recommend!

Easy set up (after viewing assembly video)

Quicker and easier to set up than a Thermarest Luxurylite cot, with far fewer pieces. Initially somewhat difficult to put together, but after watching an assembly video, construction is much logical and requires less muscle power. A little heavier than Thermarest cot.

Does job but need strong arms

I have used my cot twice for tent camping. It’s heavier than I expected so I can’t imagine taking it in a backpack. The legs of the cot are metal and you have to be able to press them together to fit them into the holes on either side of the cot bed so the tension keeps it taut. I am older and have found it slightly difficult to find the strength to put this together after long day of activity. Just a consideration! Sleeping on it is better than the floor and it’s low to the ground.

Great low-profile cot

I needed something that would keep me off the ground but still pack into my saddlebag for motorcycle trips. This was just what I was looking for, it also had the additional feature of having a pocket for a pad(something you will definitely need if you are cool/cold weather camping on a cot) which keeps the pad from moving around. The legs are all metal and are modular so if you need to replace a part you shouldn't have to buy a whole leg(I have yet to test replacing any parts). It's pretty sturdy once fully assembled and looks like it might be useful as a makeshift stretcher in an emergency. Assembly was pretty intuitive and not very difficult. It can pack down to less than what will fit into the bag. I wound up using the bag to hold my tent, ground cover, sleeping pad as well as the cot fabric, and put all the legs and poles into another shared bag. The problem I ran into was getting the sleeping pad in after the cot was assembled, so you might want to get it in place and inflated to what you want before putting the legs on. Also something that didn't occur to me until later, just because your single/bivy tent floor can fit the cot(barely) doesn't mean you will easily get it through the door once the tent is staked down. :-[ This(along with the tent) is definitely going into my lightweight backpacking gear if I choose not to use a camping hammock. One word of warning, the side poles are designed to be supported by all five sets of legs, you will bend the side poles if you use less. So if you do use this as a stretcher you will need two stronger poles to run the length of the cot. Those can be tied to the legs.

Best cot

I have to sleep on a cot some time weeks or month due to nature of the job. This cot definitely saved my life. I inserted a sleeping mat in the cot and it’s just the right firmness for me.

Good quality cot.

Sturdy and Lightweight cot. I like mine so much, I bought an identical one for my son as a gift. Have 30+ nights camping on mine with no signs of wear. Relatively easy to setup and tear down.
