Favorite new hoodie, durability remains to be seen

I appreciate a quality hoodie, and having been happy with a previous Vissla purchase, decided to give this one a try. It's fairly unique, with snaps at the neck and cuffs, and a hood that provides ample coverage without being cavernous. The material is comfortable and seems sufficiently warm (April in Minnesota) over a t-shirt. A proper long-sleeved base layer would probably extend that to colder temperatures, but my experience with this brand continues to be that layering calls for moving up a size if you're "borderline" in terms of fit. At 5'11" 180lbs, choosing large rather than medium was the right choice for me. If I had one concern - but not at the cost of a star - it would be the durability of the fabric. I have experienced pilling/fraying with similar materials, and will be watching for signs of the same with this garment. I would expect that to be especially true when abrasion from things like backpack straps enter the mix.
