[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some reason Columbia changed what I considered to be the perfect hiking pant. For some reason they removed a flap from one of the two rear pockets. I’m not sure why anyone thought it was a good decision to exclude something to protect your items while out and about. Additionally they changed the horizontal zipper pocket to a vertical zipper pocket which for me preference wise is a pain to deal with and if it rips makes it easier for items to fall out. The legs now have a seam where a zipper for convertible pants would be. It’s actually annoying after long hikes. They did improve the belt loops from previous versions which was the only good change.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the quality of columbia and the Silver Ridge pants is very comfortable to wear it’s so durable that’s why I always choose to buy this product specially if it’s there is a promo discount.
Best pants that I ever had, fit well, nice fabric and excellent fit. i really Love Columbia cloth!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought these pants recently for my dad‘s birthday. He wears a 29 length and 38 waist. They did not have the 29 way so I had to get the 30 waste. Luckily he was able to get them him somewhere because he is so short, he really loves this style and this brand of pants. I have bought him a pair of the last two or three years now of the same ones that he likes. The silver Ridge style is very comfortable and has just the right amount of stretch when he sits down. He is 93 years old and still is very fashionable. He looks very handsome in his silver Ridge pants!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these pants on sale and they're fine, but a little thin as other reviews have said. Definitely summer weight pants. My bigger complaint is the sizing. I ordered per the sizing guidelines and the pants are tight but in a borderline way. I decided to exchange them but found out that Columbia's return policy is to only offer a refund minus $6 for processing. Since I got these at a sale price, that doesn't leave much to replace them with. I would much have preferred to exchange them for one size larger, but since that wasn't an option, I decided to keep them and hope that they stretched a bit. My recommendation would be to either buy one size up if you're near the upper limit of one size or go find a brick-and-mortar store where you can try them on before purchasing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took 10 days for the pants to arrive from the left coast. I went to open the package and found a stain on the right front pant leg at the thigh area. I tried them on and put my hands in the pocket to check the the depth of these utility pants and found a Ricola lozenge wrapper. What is going on, is a worker running around with the pants on, then repacking them and shipping them. How horribly unprofessional for a high-end pair of pants from a high-end company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my 92 year-old dad. He loves the silver Ridge style and looks forward to getting a new pair every year. The pants fit great except for he is a 29 insane. We wish you had them in the 29 inseam so we had to get them in the 30 and hem them. He looks very fashionable in his olive green columbia pants and he says they feel very comfortable.
Ultra light , comfortable, fits well ,nice design stylish. The pockest are slippery and my phone falls out when I'm sitting down. The crotch area broke is torn after a month of hiking and fishing.
One star for the pants, however, my two pairs purchased in mid 2024 have broken belt clasps (fatal flaw), Guesss what? No replacement parts and need to process full refund. More to follow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several pairs of older Silver Ridge pants. I find them great for hiking in Socal. Wished they kept the horz zipper on left leg. No it is vert no as easy to access.
