SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Quintessential Classic Sweater
This is a classic sweater you won't regret buying. It looks great, has that loose sweater look without being too baggy. It's soft enough to wear nothing underneath it but seems to be pretty durable too. The waffle knit is warm, but also breathes surprisingly well for this being made of cotton, and should hide stains better than a flat fabric. Overall I really love this sweater, it looks great and can be worn casual or dressed up. The best part is that it's so comfy you'll find yourself throwing it on all the time, which I do. My wife also loves it and has tried to steal it a few times. I'm 5'8" 180lbs athletic build and bought the medium.
Versatile Sweater
The REI Co-op Men's Wallace Lake Waffle Sweater is wonderful! This sweater is versatile and can be used casually for outdoor activities with an underlayer and vest when in colder weather. This sweater can also be dressed up a bit with chinos and a collared shirt for a more business casual look. I would consider it a medium weight sweater, and it will be best for fall and winter wear (maybe spring in colder areas...I'm in California). As a college professor, I'll wear this sweater regularly for class in colder months. The material is organically grown cotton and has a nice and soft feel to it. The loose knit structure makes the sweater fit comfortably. Also, it's machine washable, which is great. It does run a little big, so I'd recommend selecting the smaller size if you're in between sizes. Overall, great sweater that I would highly recommend!
Super Comfortable and Warm
Received this in the mail a few days ago. Super comfy and it keeps me warm on cool fall mornings. Looking forward to laying this bad boy when it get colder. I usually range between a Small and Medium, glad I got a Small in this as it runs a tad big. The small fits perfect. Love the fitted (not droopy) neck. This sweater will last me for many Falls and Winters to come.
Comfortable Loungy Sweater
The REI Co-op Men's Wallace Lake Waffle Sweater is very comfortable and warm; it works well as a fall layer for casual activities. At 5' 10" and 180lbs, the medium is a bit baggy on me but works well as a part of a weekend outfit for heading around town. The waffle texture is holding up well and seems like it will last for a long time even with the ability to machine wash. The crew neck is knit is pretty sturdy and doesn't droop like some other sweaters like this. Overall, I am happy with the sweater and would recommend it if you are looking for a casual layer to keep you warm while the weather changes.
Comfortable and soft
This sweater is great for shoulder seasons and very soft. It runs a bit large and has a baggy fit. After washing it, it shrank a little bit and fits a bit better. For the SF bay area's mild weather, this keeps me cozy for most of the year.
Perfect Middle Weight Cotton Sweater
The Olive Green Heather color is beautiful. Organic cotton material has a nice soft feel and is great as a midweight sweater. The waffle texture is very nice and provided nice air flow. I found the fit to be good with plenty of room for layering over a shirt, but felt the sleeves were a bit longer than normal with a one turn cuff. The overall fit and feel was very comfortable. Would highly recommend as a three season wardrobe item.
Ok quality but sizing way off
Well made but thinner material for a sweater and at least 1.5 sizes larger than labeled (i.e, size M = sized between L - XL. Tried to shrink with hot water wash and high heat dry cycle but no luck.
Casual and comfortable.
Overall, very nice. On me (6'1", 190#) the Large size provides a casual, comfortable, baggy fit. The waffle knit makes for a warmth-trapping garment that will do well at the fireside or for casual cold-weather activities. I'll definitely try it out but I'm guessing the fit isn't snug enough for me to be happy with it for active stuff like skiing or snowshoeing. Withholding one star because the fit is just a bit TOO baggy through the torso when compared to the length of the arms, but I'll admit we're all shaped differently so your fit may be different.
waffle sweater wins again
I don't buy things often, and this fit was just too good. I can't stop wearing this sweater. It has this subtle, bluish-purple thread contrasting the burnt orange coloring. big fan
