Klymit  Versa Blanket

Blanket itself is really nice; stayed warm on a grey, breezy, 25° morning with this over my shoulders. Also used it as a bulky sleeping bag liner for a 17° hammock sleep. Was a champ for this. Next day of the camp wasn’t so chilly so I tried using the blanket as a pillow and… I mean, maybe I was doing something wrong but it just wanted to unroll itself. I was constantly trying to gather it back up into a pillow-like shape. Like one of those trick snake-in-a-can things, it just kept coming apart. Excellent blanket, maybe not so excellent pillow.

2 day camping trip. Accidentally packed my regular camping blanket instead of my sleeping bag. A friend had this. Because of the foot box and the snaps, it stayed on me most of the night, despite me thrashing around while I sleep (thanks, bad back!). My regular camping blanket slipped off me, but this didn’t. I did have to adjust it a few times, but overall it was better as a makeshift sleeping bag than my regular camping blanket. I ordered this the next morning.

I've been wanting to purchase this camping blanket for a couple of years now, based on the reviews. I just picked one up on sale, using my rei dividend. I have several camping blankets of high quality, but this is the one i would take out of a cabin or trailer, and into a tent. It packs much smaller than the others, and is less fussy in terms of washing later. Despite the small size, it still seems warm. Also very light weight.

This is more than just a blanket. I sometimes go to the local green space after work and hang my hammock to decompress before going home. This blanket works great as a blanket , pillow or wrap. Depending on the weather. I love that it is compact and can have multiple uses. I like to hike and camp so the less gear I have to tote the better. Highly recommend.

Bought this to use when backpack camping. We used it in addition to our small 40 degree sleeping bags the other night and slept comfortably on a 10 degree night. Packs down small in its stuff sack so we’ll probably use this and our smaller warm weather sleeping bags for backcountry camping when we’re not worried about temps dipping much below zero.

Really happy with this blanket so far. Captures heat much more quickly than I even expected and took me from chilly to cozy surprisingly fast. It packs down fairly small, and would compress further than the stuff sack it comes in.

I've been a huge fan of Klymit gear for years, and when this popped up during a sale I decided to snag one to check it out. It packs down small, about a 64oz bottle, and is lightweight. The material is very soft and smooth. The fun features include a footbox so the blanket stays in place while laying down or lounging, and some snaps on the corners so you can wear it like a cape.

It is lightweight and made out of material similar to my sleeping bag. I wrapped up in it in my camp chair and felt very comfortable in the cool morning hours (40-45 degrees). Nice!

I received this just before I left for a trip to the beach in Oregon. I also wanted to use it as a pillow when needed. I did not end up using it because there was frequent rain on the beach. The pillow trial was ok, but a bit bulky.

Very warm, light weight perfect size for car and sitting on couch.
