Great easy-access bag
I started taking longer rides and was in need of a place to keep my essentials and, most importantly, my snacks and I think I found the winner. This bag may seem bulky but, unless you are on a skinny road bike and you only aim to get speed records, this is great. I can easily fit snacks for a super long ride 50+ miles or it can just have a couple for snack bars and you phone and keys (Yes, even big phones fit, my galaxy s25 pro does). The attachment points to the top tube and the handlebar are easy to use and have not moved an inch in months. The bag comes with an inner lining so if your snacks leak out or become gooey they wont make a mess in the inside of the bag. Overall, great bag if you want space and don't care about a big size.
Convenient
Good top tube container. Stayed in place held what I wanted close by. Not the best for keeping heavy rain out.
A little sad
Unboxing Experience: 10/10 When I eagerly tore open the package, expecting to find the sleek Mag Tank 2000, I was greeted by... a pair of socks. Talk about thinking outside the box! Revelate Designs has truly revolutionized the concept of a "top tube bag" by eliminating the bag altogether. Genius! Functionality: 5/7 As a top tube bag, these socks are surprisingly ineffective at holding my phone, multi-tool, and energy bars. However, they excel at keeping my feet warm, which is a feature I never knew I needed in a top tube bag. Innovation at its finest, folks! Aerodynamics: Wind/10 While traditional top tube bags may create drag, these sock-bags are incredibly aerodynamic when worn on your feet. Your toes will be slicing through the wind like a hot knife through butter! Waterproofing: Damp/10 I must admit, the socks' waterproofing capabilities leave something to be desired. After riding through a puddle, my feet were soggier than a bowl of cereal left out overnight. But hey, who needs dry feet when you've got... um... style? Installation: Easier than expected Attaching the "Mag Tank 2000" to my bike proved to be a breeze. I simply put the socks on my feet, and voila! Installation complete. No straps, no velcro, no fuss! Value for Money: Priceless Sure, I may have paid top dollar for a high-end top tube bag, but can you really put a price on the confusion and laughter this mix-up has brought into my life? In conclusion, the Revelate Designs Mag Tank 2000 Top Tube Bag (aka Mystery Socks) has truly redefined what it means to be a cycling accessory. While it may not hold your gear or attach to your bike, it will certainly hold your feet and attach to your sense of humor.
