HOW TO MEASURE:
Neck: Around the fullest part of the neck, at the base.
Chest: Around the chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Sleeve: From the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down the arm to the wrist.
Waist: Around the narrowest part of the waist.
Hip: Around the widest point of the hips.
Inseam: From the crotch to the anklebone on the inside of the leg.

No room for "the girls"
The photo of this shirt online makes it clear that it is shaped for a female body. So I expected it to be shaped for a female body. Since my female body is rather large-chested, I ordered an extra large. It is HUGE everywhere EXCEPT the chest! It seems to be a man's shirt that was just remarked for women. This is an ongoing frustration as now I once again have to drive over to REI to return it (I bought it online). I wish vendors would be more forthcoming and list women's shirt sizes based on BRA size. It would have saved them, and me, a lot of hassle.

Lightwire was a pleasant surprise in that it is a silky flat knit that is not sheer or clingy. That makes it perfect for my preference of more modest workout clothes at my lifting gym. I’m 5’4” 36C and medium fits modestly and comes to mid hip and drapes with a nice contoured fit. I can see investing in long sleeve Lightwires for cool weather trail runs but for now these are already in steady rotation in just one week of receiving them.
Super wicking, dries quickly
Used this on a two-day backpacking trip and was able to wear it both days after hanging it dry in my tent overnight. Still didn't smell at all by the end of the trip. It was so breathable, and didn't feel itchy against my skin. Super lightweight. Even without a UPF rating, sun didn't burn me through it either.
Light, breathable and lovely!
Huge fan of this top - mistakenly bought this instead of a merino wool BD t-shirt, and I'm not mad at all. This shirt handles my sweat like a pro and fits wonderfully. Easy to wash and wear out in the backcountry. So glad I bought two.
Lightweight & Comfy
I haven't actually run in this shirt yet because it's winter and this is definitely a summer fabric/style but I can tell it will be lightweight and breathable and feels like a good comfy fit. Can't wait to try it in a few months!
Perfect Shirt for Outdoor Activities
Purchased this shirt for a hiking trip since I needed something that was breathable, wicking, and easy to clean. It fits well and was dry by the next morning when washed or rinsed out at night.
Great! But not as soft as other BD shirts?
Good shirt! I’ve used it a few times and it’s lightweight and breathable. The light wire is not as soft as BD tech shirts I’ve purchased in the past. But this is a minor detail.
Lightwire Short Sleeve T-shirt
This shirt was returned. I was between 2 sizes. The medium was too tight in the back region. It is a very thin & sweat wicking material. I thought it wouldn’t be too durable.

This shirt is so lightweight and perfect for the summer heat! I got two I love them so much! The grey and dark blue are such rich colors and look great with any pants/shorts.
