Ooni transport cover review
This is really a œstorage or œtransport cover more than a œkeep it safe from the elements until you use it again cover. I like the fit and the quality seems very good. The issue for me is that by removing the stack and feeder tube each time, you get full of soot and creosote when handling. Also, the bag for them fits into your oven, but there is a deflector shield inside that needs to be removed each time (more soot) and I don't know what to do with the removable door since the cover won't fit over it while on. I just thought how I'd be using would be to put it away. However, I love my Ooni 12 Fyre so much I want it ready to spring into service. Thanks

I do not like the design of the Ooni Fyra 12 Carry Cover. The cover for the oven is ok, but it should include securing fully closable pockets for the stove pipe, and the oven cover should be made so the over doors can remain in place with pockets for the stove pipe. With everything contained in one carry cover/bag it would be convenient to pack, store, and carry; instead of worring about parts falling out the bag and getting damaged or lost. Please consider this concept and I would order another bag if it would meet the above mentioned comments.
Just Ok
For the price I was hoping for something a bit thicker. Ripstop fabric is nice especially because of how thin the material is and the fact that it might get caught on something when carrying the Fyra or traveling with the Fyra. The separate compartment for the chimney and pellet chut is one big compartment which means they can bump around and get scratched easily.I wrap everything in bubble wrap before placing it inside. There should also be a better design to pass the straps through to secure it better on top of the Fyra.
Rad design, needs some improvements though
This is a great design but there are buts. 1.) compared to my Webber grill cover this material is very thin, and after only maybe two months of use is showing some cracking 2,) it appears to be putting a lot of stress on the fyra handle when covered despite the good fit this concerns me 3.) silly but all the strap locks were on the straps backwards or upside down depending on how you wanna look at it - not a hard fix but slightly annoying Overall a great design that needs a little production follow through in my opinion
Love my Ooni
I purchased my Ooni for fun family activities. My kids are all grown and live in their own places now. I bought the Ooni as a way to bring them back to my home every few months for a fun evening of pizza making and partying. We had a last celebration of the season last Saturday. Made a variety of personal pizzas all afternoon. It was warm enough to sit outside by the fire, make pizzas, eat, converse and enjoy each others company by the fire. Everyone had a great time. My Ooni is worth every penny.
Spectacular pizza oven!
Gave this as a Christmas gift to my daughter son in law and kiddos. The kids love making their own pizza's and how quickly they can eat them! Daughter and son in law love the oven, so do their many guests !!! It is portable so they prepare dough, the toppings ahead of time, guests can make their own. We have taken it camping and on the boat for offshore trips. Cooks our fish fast too! Great quality oven and carry bag without the expense of building one in their outdoor kitchen!
Love the Ooni Fyra 12
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I love to cook. Being in my kitchen everyday is the best. My husband and I both love a good pizza. However, where we live..pizza is not worth going out for. NOW! We make our own and what a difference. Freshly made at home. There is a learning curve, Follow the direction and just cook a small portion of dough first to see just how fast it cooks. This is so you don’t burn or over cook your first pizza. Timing is everything. I highly recommend the Fyra 12 pizza oven.
Perfect.
Just what I wanted. Even using pellets, it only takes 15 minutes to heat up and then it's ready. Pizzas come out within a minute or two and have a beautiful wood oven look. Unless you tend to a brick oven all day, you aren't getting these results any other way. It also cools down much quicker than I would have expected. So clean up and put away are easy too. 12 size is great as it's more economical and if everyone is making their own pizza, you don't need the bigger size.
Carry Cover
Nice cover seems sturdy and well made. Protects oven and makes it easy to transport. Nice addition to supply a separate bag to hold the smokestack & pellet feeder with room to hold some additional accessories (manuals, thermometer, etc.). Overall, the cover is a very snug fit, I have trouble stretching it over the protruding handle on the front door of the oven. Wish they would have left a slot or put an extension on the cover to better accommodate the door handle.
Not comfortable with the door handle
All in all, I’m pretty stoked regarding the cover and how snug everything is… Very easy to carry around and this is a game changer for first night of camping and having gourmet pizza… Can’t wait. However… I am afraid that the door handle is going to break because there doesn’t seem to be room in the bag to account for the handle poking out and the door handle seems slightly flimsy. The review would be a total five if I wasn’t afraid that they handle will break.
