I am 5'4" 125 lbs with a somewhat athletic build. I ordered these pants in a 4 and (once on) they are a dream. Beautifully blinding pink/red color, lots of room around the knees for unrestricted movement, a zippered thigh pocket, front and rear pockets that are actually deep enough to be useful, super sturdy fabric, and a wonderful high waist fit. The only downside -- and it was almost a deal breaker -- is the design of the waist. There is elastic in it, but unlike typical elastic waist pants, it probably only stretches a few inches. It is a bit difficult to slide the pants over my butt, but I love them so much otherwise I'm willing to put up with it.
The waist band is supposed to have elastic and be scrunched as shown in the picture. In reality it's a flat waistband with a drawstring: NO elastic. The non-stretchy waist makes them really hard to pull them over my hips, though once on they are fine since the rest of the pants are baggy.
Beautiful blue color, unique sturdy fabric but crazy fit and worthless waistband. These came with one side of the non-elastic bands retreated into the waist. I was finally able to pull it out but that didnt matter. It was too short (both bands combined) and had zero elasticity. The legs were short compared to the room in the hips especially and legs too, yet that may've been part of the "climber's" pant design...yet if you can't get them to stay on your waist they're...well, returnable!!!
They are so cute but I could not even get the waist halfway up my thighs. Waistband is a total design fail.
Nicely made pants with good fabric, nice red detail against the blue. Waistband was tight when pulling pants on over my hips. Very baggy through the thighs, pouchy over the stomach, snug around the ankles (perhaps as it is supposed to be for climbing pants?). Folds awkwardly when I sit in them.
Nice pants, good color, the waistband isn't very stretchy though
A little tight to get over the hips. Comfortable to climb in
