The first thought I had when I put these shoes on where how comfortably they fit my feet. The sole is very nice and feels like you're walking on a cloud! The tread on these shoes is very good, I wouldn't use it for ice or snow but definitely good for grit or mud. The fabric is extremely thin and lightweight, but not water resistant in the slightest. On a cold day your feet would be very chilly in these. I like a more supportive running shoe, and though these were light, they weren't quite sturdy enough for me. It felt like my foot was very free, but I'm an aggressive runner and prefer something that is more robust. These would be great for running on paved paths or trails without lots of sharp rocks.
I break these in typically for a week inside in case there is a fitment issue or comfort issue and I’ve already noticed the wrap on the midsole is separating and the outsole is separating. The shoe overall is comfortable, the midsole is responsive and somewhat plush however it is narrow and I have noticed my foot rolling off the side during turning maneuvers. The upper is nice and comfortable and accommodating for your feet but the midsole is in conflict with the lose upper. Tread is acceptable but not super grippy making it a descent transition shoe for light trail and pavement.
Box arrived damaged and taped all around
These shoes are great for moderate trails and day hiking. Nice and breathable and the color pops! My favorite part is the tongue. It is nice and thin and stays in place for the entire hike/run. This prevents chafing and blistering. The overall fit of the entire shoe is true to size, even at the end of the day. These shoes will be my trail runners and hikers for the season!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe fits perfectly, just like only wearing a sock but it's an actual shoe. Absolutely love the snug and weightless feeling, especially running on the treadmill and on the trails. The color I have for this shoe is also very unique, don't ever recall having a shoe of this color and the look is so !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it very much! It is amazingly beautiful and high quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TNF is crushing. The rocker sole is dialed in and propels you forward but has great cushioning. Tread is great on light dirt trails and road. I have TNF Vectiv Enduris IIs as well. The Enduris IIs get the nod for me because the upper is a little more structured and protective but that's how TNF designed it and the Eminus is perfect for its intended use. Slightly less supportive and cushioned with less toe cap protection than the Enduris. if you want a shoe for 80% road and 20% trail with a good stack height and rocker the Eminus is hard to beat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good - extremely cushioned. Great mid sole with tons of return. Would make for a great active recovery or moderate training shoe for trail work for someone The bad - sizing is hit and miss. Ideally go up a half size or else face toe collisions. Narrow toe box to the point of blisters in the first 10 miles. Coming from NB shoes this is not uncommon, but these are even extreme for me. I did not expect Hoka or Altra toe box but these are NARROW. Also my pair has some strange bunching of material where the upper material of the toe is glued to the very front of the sole. Just on one shoe but oddly enough this shoe seems less narrow in the toe than the other side. Maybe just a bad pair made it through, but overall not impressed with the sizing or construction techniques
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far the best show I've ever run in! I'm a long time HOKA fan and these blow them away. The knit forefoot allows the foot to move and adjust without having a break in period. Straight out of the box these feel great; the perfect balance of cushion to responsiveness that allows you to have that responsive feel and also cushion. The rocker sole allows you to lean into your run and move forward easily and quickly!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for shoes that would help me throughout the 12 hour shift in the hospital. These shoes are awesome. I bought two pairs one for Work and one for exercise. the cushion of the is insane. It help me from stopping my feet from hurting from the 12 hour shift. My Apple Watch calculates that I walk 50 km from my 3 12 hour shifts and these shoes get it done. They're great walking and running shoes.
