Everything I wanted in an everyday flashlight, small, water proof, rechargeable. the thing that really surprised me and makes this flashlight stand out to me was the belt clip, it works in ways no others can. I sometimes clip it to the bill of my hat and use it as a headlamp, it’s handy when it’s not in your hand.
I’m a big fan of this company for good Quality flash lights. I bought this one to really cut the darkness when you are deep in the woods. Very well built. Puts the light out. And in those cold days it warms you hand up nice. I own about 8 different lights and lanterns. I by far I’m very pleased with the fenix brand. Check Their web site they offer my of their products then what REI carriers but when you get it you’ll love it
This is a surprisingly powerful, sturdy and compact flashlight. It took me a few minutes to get used to twisting it to turn it on and change the brightness, and the lit end gets hot after a while on the brightest setting, but I don’t mind and it doesn’t effect the performance. The numerous light settings and the flashing emergency probe are very handy. I highly recommend this flashlight.
This is a very capable light. I most appreciate the on/off and intensity switch this model uses which is a rotating ring close to the light head, so there is no danger of the light turning on by mistake due to a press on a switch. The intensity at full on is excellent and using the newer 21700 battery makes for longer run times at whatever setting the operator chooses. Charging is easy because you just need to plug in to a USB 3.0 charging connection with the included cable to renew the power level.
This is my first high end flashlight and I love it. solid construction with good heft to it, plus usb type C charger. Used it during some cave walks and its like the sun in the palm of your hands.
Small, rechargeable and very bright, this is exactly what I need around the house and on fishing/rafting trips. Nice that it cranks out the light when you need it, but being able to turn it down when searching through my dry bag or reading makes it much more useful. On a recent four day float, with moderate use, the battery is doing well. It does get warm when on "high" but that was a plus when temps fell and I was still setting up.
The brightness and different levels is remarkable and this has become my only flashlight to use. It stays charged for a very long time and recharges quickly.
Extremely well made. Strongest light projection. Highly recommend.
