Best running shorts I own
I bought these despite my reservations because of some of the negative reviews I saw here. After having them for a few months, I can honestly say I don’t know what those reviewers’ gripes are about. The fit is great—just follow the sizing chart from Salomon. They’re super light, and though I don’t ever use the back pocket for anything, I guess you could carry something light in it like your ID if you were going to be running significant distances. I bought another pair of these last week during the Labor Day sale. (5’ 9”, 175lbs, 32” waist. The mediums fit great in this short).
Great materials! Weird fitting liner sizes.
These shorts really are a great product and feel well made! However the liner is dramatically different between a Medium and Large. I got the Medium and the shorts part was good but the liner was SNUG beyond comfort, even while just walking, so I exchanged for a Large and the liner was too baggy! But the shorts are good. The difference in liner sizing was notable and awkward. MY PERSONAL FIT aside, I think they're really great shorts! I'm bummed they don't fit my body like I'd hoped - I just cut the liner out, run with asics running briefs, and the shorts are wonderful.
Great shorts missing some features
Love the brand and the attention to the needs of the running community. I was looking for, but couldn’t find features that were on a previous pair of Solomon running shorts. Really miss the two small mesh back pockets along with the small zipper pocket. Also, miss the elastic waist band with elastic pull string. Bring them back and I’ll be your first customer. Keep up the good work.
Non Professional Everyday Dinky-Di-Aussie Bloke
They’re quite good shorts. I use them for a multitude of outdoor activities and exercising in. They’ve recently been on an expedition doing the waterholes, hikes and walks of the Top End and they’ve held up pretty well from hiking, swimming, setting up camp and exercising. They’ve even doubled as a to and from bathroom wear.
Great Fit!
These are probably my best fitting pair of running/gym shorts. The M length and fit are perfect for my 6'2" / 185 lb. frame. The small pocket in the back is great for a key or an ID on a short run. I wish it had a few more pockets on the back waistband for a gel / nutrition. Light material. Very pleased with these.
Well made, liner not comfortable
I bought this pair of shorts and a pair of 2 in 1 shorts. The 2 in 1 shorts liner is awesome. Very comfortable and stays in place. The liner on this short seems very small/ tight and rides up on me. I can't wear these for running at all. I plan to get more 2 in 1 shorts once more are in stock.

Second pair
That's my second pair, love them for biking because they're short. Definitely on the tighter fit but they're good if you don't like baggy working out clothe. They feel/are shorter than a regular 7 so be mindful of that. I'd say definately a good pair of running short.
light and trim fitting
I'm 6ft , but have a thin build (145lbs). These shorts fit well and I like the material/feel. the only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is because the liner is not great. It's a bikini style brief as opposed to a boxer short style and rides up a bit.
Good But...
Had some runs with this short, the fit is great, material is ok (super light but will smell bad quickly) but the inner brief does not fit at all and is super tight and will try its best to move up. got some irritations because of it.

Best Shorts Ever
I bought these in September 2023 and have worn them several times a week. They are my go-to shorts, they have held up to hundreds of trail miles but most importantly they have never bunched up or caused chaffing.
