Knickers are my go to for shoulder and winter seasons Endura fits well, sturdy and non itchy material with stretch, wind and water resistant, temp, 45-75 extra pockets are nice , zippers a plus for valuables, compact pack size, stretch cords for covered knee caps +, waist string.
