What a disappointment from previous generation

Had two pairs of previous gen of these shorts. Just fantastic shorts, had them for over ten years and they just recently disintegrated in the wash. So I thought well I'm gonna stick with the tried and true Zoics. I'm a medium in everything and my old Zoic's were mediums. These mediums are way too small literally unusable and that is just one of the issues. First thing I observed when they came out of the package is they are heavy shorts and that is due to the main material which is thick, stiff, loud and does not breath well at all. It has a life of its own . while your pedaling the material is moving all over the place bc it's so stiff. It's also very noisy like you have tent material on your legs. Every pedal stroke causes a loud rubbing noise driving you nuts. They don't breathe at all like wearing a plastic bag on your lower body. Like many other manufacturers they just can't leave well enough alone and have to mess with the fabrics and sizing. Plenty of other better choices out there. Do not recommend.

Mountain bike shorts that work

I have had the old spandex style forever and was skeptical. They are great pants and liner combo. If you forget you’re wearing them, that is a win. The pockets put your items under your leg when riding, and it’s like not having it with you.

Outstanding

These are the best bicycle pants I have seen. Gave to my son who rides often and far. Seems like they thought of everything when they made these. They are also washable and come out perfect so far.
