Perfect for mountain biking and
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for mountain biking and day hiking too.
Two bad design features
I love Osprey packs. I have four of them. I have the Raptor 14 which is really well designed, but is a little shy of room if you need to pack rain gear. So I bought the Raptor Pro which is a little bigger. It has two really dumb design features. The side bottle sleeves are two inches shorter limiting what you can put in there. The front pouch straps are attached to the pack two inches higher blocking access to the zippers. Two minor comments. The 14 has a large front pouch and a small one. The pro, only a large one. While I know it is intended more for biking, an ice axe loop at the bottom would make it more versatile. If they had simply mimicked the 14, but a little larger, it would have been a great pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is off the Richter scale; this bag is for bikes, but don't let the price fool you. I use it for running because it is made so well, and in a place where running bags are non-existent or make you look like you have two boobs — this is the bag for you. I love this bag so much, and it motivates me to want to do more and climb higher. Also, it would make a great bike bag if you're going to waste its full potential…
Smaller compartments would be helpful
Solid like all Osprey packs. Compartments within the large pack would be better than a big open compartment . I’ve only had it for about a month and I stopped mountain biking because of shoulder problems - not related to the pack. I like the extra padding – having a backpack on with a bladder and the extra padding protects my spine in the event of a fall on my back
