Great for walking
These shoes give me support that I didn’t realize I was missing from a pair of Nike shoes I have. I can walk further on my treadmill and my feet feel great. I would definitely recommend these shoes! I am now a HOKA shoe fan!

not comfortable fit
the fit is not as comfortable. the shoe narrows too much at the front - creating very tight space for the toes. not comfortable feeling

Great for Hoka feel, but without the huge stack

Bought this to replace my Hoka Cliftons, which were very comfortable but had such a high stack that it left me feeling disconnected and with some ankle instability. These Solimars are a great middle ground between something with very little comfort, like an Altra, and a super high cushion like the Cliftons. I also find it hard to find a variety of shoes with no stability or inner post, and these are neutral. My only negative has been the sturdiness of the heel tab, which after just one or two accidental crushes seems to have lost most of its rigidity. That is as much on me as the shoe, though.

Am I color blind ?

Right out of the box it’s the correct fit, very lightweight and comfortable shoe. The reason I’m leaving the review is that the body of the shoe is a more on a gray/green scale than the more vibrant photos on the site. I looked back at the photos listed above and agree more with those wherein the shoe appears less green. Better suits my style anyway, and still a beautiful looking shoe .

Hoka Shoes, running

Overall good shoes, slight slipping in the heal. Taken the shoes on one outdoor run and once on treadmill so far. Nice light feel.

Great fit, support and comfort but . . .

As the says, but they insole came loose in one show and rides back as I walk -- it rides right up the heel. I've had the shoes for about 10 months and wear them a lot but they are in excellent shape. As far as I can tell there's no way to get a new insole. I could try using Barge cement to glue it down and I guess I'll try it if I can't return them.

Hoka substandard product

Not the level of quality compared to other HOKA shoes I’ve purchased previously. Shoe doesn’t feel substantial and even shoe laces are flimsy.
