Separate, bunked, or futon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice pair of beds! They can stack securely or lay separate from each other. They hold more weight than I thought they would and they each have a hanging container thing that’s secured by three Velcro sections. Taking the circle parts off at the ends are probably the hardest part of this whole setup, but I think that’s actually a good thing because it just reinforces how impossible it is for this thing to accidentally come apart. You can even set it up to sit like a little futon couch. I think it’s a great addition for us when we go camping - if our girls want them bunked or separate, either works! And changing it is no hassle at all! Definitely two thumbs up for how great this is!

Maximize Your Camping Comfort: Disc-O-Bed XL Outfitter Bunk Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently recieved the Disc-O-Bed XL Outfitter Bench Double Cot Camping Bunk with Organizers, and I couldn't be happier with my investment. This camping bunk is an absolute game-changer for outdoor adventures, providing both comfort and convenience in one sleek package. First and foremost, let's talk about setup. Setting up each bunk individually was a breeze, taking me around 5 minutes for each one. The instructions were clear, and the pieces fit together smoothly without any hassle. What impressed me even more was that disassembly was just as quick, also around 5 minutes for each bunk. This quick teardown adds to the overall convenience of the Disc-O-Bed XL Outfitter, allowing for swift transitions when moving campsites or packing up at the end of a trip. One of the standout features of this bunk is its versatility. Switching from bunk bed mode to bench mode is incredibly easy, providing flexibility in how you use your space. The ability to transform the bunks into a bench adds a whole new dimension to campsite seating arrangements, making it perfect for gathering around the fire or enjoying a meal with friends and family. Speaking of space, the space-saving design of the bunk bed is a definite plus, especially when camping in tight quarters. However, what I particularly appreciate is the option to separate the bunks when space isn't an issue. This flexibility allows for more personalized sleeping arrangements and ensures everyone gets their own space when needed. Another standout feature of this bunk is its thoughtful design, which includes organizers. These organizers provide ample storage space for essentials like water bottles, flashlights, or other small items you want to keep within easy reach during the night. Having these compartments right on the bunk saves valuable floor space in the tent and keeps things tidy and organized. Now, let's address the elephant in the room: weight. Yes, this bunk is undeniably heavy, which can be a downside if you're planning on trekking long distances to your campsite. However, for car camping the weight is a minor inconvenience compared to the comfort and functionality it provides once set up. Overall, I highly recommend the Disc-O-Bed XL Outfitter Bench Double Cot Camping Bunk with Organizers to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient sleeping solution for their outdoor adventures. With its easy setup, practical design, and durable construction, it's sure to enhance your camping experience for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second cot from disc bed and it does not disappoint. Comfortable for an average size adult male with room to spare. Three storage compartments to keep all my gear right where I need it. Easy set quick set up and convenient storage, makes traveling with and camping a breeze. Looking forward to many more adventures with my disc bed product.

Ultimate way to increase space in your tent

This system is fantastic and far exceeded my expectations of portability and space you save inside your tent. We’re a family of 4 and have the REI Wonderland X tent. The tent is a 4 person tent, but when tents say they sleep 4, they sleep 4 with little room for anything else. Using these cots we drastically increased our space inside the tent. You can store your other bed rolls and gear under the cot and now have room for chairs and gear in the tent for those times where the great outdoors aren’t so great (rain.)

Heavy Duty and Comfortable, but Slightly Inconvenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Disc-O-Bed XL is a high quality, heavy duty sleeping solution. It’s sturdy, comfortable considering it’s a cot, and versatile. It can be a bunk, separate sleeping arrangements, or even convert into a couch. Its downfall is the effort it takes to set up and take down, and how heavy it is. I wish there was a way for it to fold up easily instead of having to completely build and tear down each time. Overall great product, but not something I would choose just due to the lack of convenience.

This is so sturdy and durable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After putting this together, I’m amazed at the durability and how comfortable these cots are. They are super functional, and plenty of space when you have them stacked. As far as the carrying case goes, it’s so efficient to have a place for every piece and know that they aren’t going to be moving around in transit. The heft of the pieces is awesome, and you know that it will support your weight. I love these cots and want more!

Great quality an easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These camping beds can be used alone or as bunk beds and it’s extremely easy to install using directions included. These are very good sized, I’m 5’11” and fit very comfortably even with using the bunk bed style. The carrying cases are really nice and have a secured spot for each piece so they’re very easy to pick up and take anywhere needed.

A great cot/bunkbed combo, but HEAVY

The Disc-o-bed was an ideal addition to our glamping setup. We just spent 10 days in the redwoods in a large tent, and we set up the Disc-o-bed bunk. It was comfortable, rugged enough to not move with two people sleeping, and, once the learning curve was done, it was easy to set up and take down. The bunkbed arrangement gave us extra space in the tent for us and our gear. The cots' gear pockets are ample and held all our small items. We never availed ourselves of the couch conversion, as we spent day hours away from the tent. The big downside is the weight, which is why I give it four instead of five stars. This is not something to pack in backcountry. The two parts of the bunk arrive in two satchels, each carrying a complete cot, so a single camper can grab a single satchel, but still...very heavy. The fabric is thick and rugged, without any evidence of the seams pulling. We did not experience any flexing of the metal framework, even with two adults on the bunk. The nylon fabric is noisy for the person on the bottom when the top sleeper shifts their weight, so we put a camp blanket across the fabric of the top bunk, which stopped the noise.

The Disc-O-Bed is strong, comfortable, and compact for storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Disc-O-Bed XL double cot is great. It can be used as two separate cots or combined into a bunk bed cot. It’s sturdy, comfortable, and it’s XL profile makes it long enough so that my feet don’t land on the bars. The added bunk organizer has many pockets with zippers and a water bottle pocket; so you can keep your belongings close by at night.

Easy to assemble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having been in the military I can say that the cots we used were a huge pain to put together. I wish we'd had these instead! So much easier to assemble. And much wider! 33" across, plenty of room, and very comfy (for a cot). And they came in nice storage bags to boot!
