Gorgeous table but EXTREMELY DELICATE

Bought twice online, received damaged both times. The original box contains no padding; it's just the thin fabric carrying case and table. REI shipped it first with only the original box -- arrived with a crushed corner and broken plastic foot. REI shipped a replacement with an exterior box and paper padding -- arrived with a dent. I returned both tables and will not buy it again. If you really want this table, I would recommend buying it in-person. That is unless REI starts shipping Snow Peak bamboo tables with heavy duty packing materials. I think that would be appropriate for this fragile and expensive item. Overall it's a beautiful, well designed table. "Single Action" works great -- it opens and packs in one motion. Bamboo material is ok. Again, it dents easily. Plastic feet are low quality, I nearly thought it was a shipping protector, not the actual table foot. The table is too fragile for my needs. For my Snow Peak collection, I'll probably get an IGT table since they come with metal borders, and are more compatible with other Snow Peak equipment.

Easy to use table with looks!

Hands down the best car camping table I've owned! The single action opens quickly and sturdy into position but you must make yourself familiar with the mechanism to make sure you're doing it right. The table is study for both in home use as a coffee table and outdoors as a dining/play table that is at the perfect height for my Snow Peak Take! chairs and Nemo Stargazer. The table IS pricey but as any Snow Peak product goes, it'll last as long as you take care of it.

Stable table for camp and backyard use

I’m confused about the negative reviews. I’ve looked for a similar table but nothing comes close. This table is super sturdy and elegant. Takes 5sec to setup. They have a clever case that protects table while you setup. I intend to use this for backyard, car camping, tail gaiting and to supplement my Taikibi fire pit setup.

I used this camp table one time, the bottom locking mechanism bent open trying to unlock. Taking it back.

Perfect for us.

This may not the best table for everyone, now for someone who likes to leave their gears outside, set up once and leave it there for days/overnight, or look for cheap options. Cons Expensive and wood - you can't leave it outside overnight. Delicate - need to open and close with care Pros Quick and easy - It literally takes less than 10 seconds to set up and put it away. Sturdy - Once it's set up, we never had an issue. Good looking and feeling - Personal preference, but we don't like plastic or metal gears but like wood. It keep our foods and hands warmer, especially, looks better. It works perfectly for us. We don't like to keep our gears out with bugs, rains and animals. And it takes no time to set up and put it away. Or if you have hot tent set up, you can just leave it in your tent. I would give 5 stars as we enjoy this table so much but I don't think it's for everyone.
