Seam failed after 1 season
Initially solid pants for nordic skiing and even cycling and trail running in winter conditions down to about 10° F. Unfortunately after a little less than a year and one season of use I noticed a very uncomfortable draft and found that they had. basically started to split in half at the main seam at the groin. Might benefit from a re-design with a gusset or reinforced seam, but pretty poor lifespan for the price point.
Wonderful pants, if you're a giraffe
These are wonderful pants and I really wanted them to work for winter biking but they are just so long in the inseam. They really seem to be made for tall, long legs, slim folks. I'm 5'9" 180, fit, 32in waist, 30in inseam. I knew they might be a bit long but cmon. The medium was a little big in the waist but manageable, pretty tight in the quads (mine are 25in), and waaaaay too long. If you are tall and skinny they are awesome, really nice quality and features. Otherwise no.
Perfect for skiing
It's really hard to find a good mid layer for skiing. They keep me feeling great on the slopes.
