Insulated and waterproof. Was looking for something for colder days regardless of the weather. These definitely do the trick. Not sure what the lower end of comfort is, but can easily throw on long underwear to extend them out as needed.
Insanely warm. Only for really frigid weather.
I bought these primarily for winter bike commuting. Too warm when the temperature was in the low 30s. Was perfect in the single digit temperatures. Insanely warm.

I like it so much that I purchased the 2nd pair. It's warm, a bit wind proof, wore it in low 10s weather for xc skiing and didn't feel cold at all
