I LOVE everything about these pants except the surprisingly tight waistband... I'm a 27.5 inch waist and the small is cutting me in half while the medium is also tight in the waist but ridiculously loose in the legs. Why is the waist so tight and unforgiving? You need more of an hourglass shape to wear these. I'm a rectangle of a lady. 5'6", 130lbs, tube shaped body. If you are more of a cinched waist form, then I'd praise the fabric, which is super stretchy and the perfect bouldering pant material. The search continues...
The fabric of these pants is 10/10. You feel like you’re wearing nothing, no resistance, can climb all of the things. However, the fit just seems off to me. I tried the M and L and both were super loose in the waist while tight in the thighs which caused the pockets to stick out oddly. And while the fabric works wonderfully, it’s quite swishy which can be kind of annoying. These are minor things that just didn’t work for me personally. I want to love them though.
These pants seem high quality, durable, and offer a good range of motion for climbing or other activities. They were flattering and I love the color. As others have stated, the waist is just oddly tiny. Despite loving everything else about these pants they had to go back because the waist was so uncomfortable.
Got these a month ago, worn many times a week at work, have hiked, scrambled, and spot climbed in these bad boys. I also have slide down lots of granite in these, high recommend. I’m a size 16-18, and 5’11’ and they fit great, I only wish they came in a long, but us long johns get used to everything being an ankle pant. Planning to backpack in the Sierra Nevadas this summer in these so bought a second pair. :)
These pants fit really nicely and have a lot of stretch. They sit slightly below my natural waist and fit under a harness perfectly. I am athletically built and they are not too tight on my thighs/hips. Plus they are super cute! What more could you want (aside from more colors)
I’m a 30” waist and usually wear a size large, so that’s what I bought these in. Everything fits great except the waist. It’s so uncomfortably tight. Would be perfect otherwise.
These pants fit great! Some reviews mentioned that the waist size ran tight but I generally wear a waist size 27/28 in women's pants and found the fit to be perfect. The fabric has plenty of give for climbing movements, and they're overall flattering pants. Highly recommend.
I read the reviews and sized up the first time I bought a pair of these pants. It did not work out well for me. After the return, I followed Topo Design's size chart and ordered. I am very pleased with the second effort. The pants fit well, move well, and look good.
Waistband is very small on these. I'm 5'5" 125 lbs and I'm usually a small but these are way too tight.
