Happy with my purchase.
I am 57 wait 155 to 160 pounds. I ordered size large and green and black and I cannot be happier with the fit. There’s some looseness in my legs, but it’s still flattering. I plan on wearing the pants to work in an office setting and pretty much any occasion. The weight is nice for winter and I don’t think they’d be too warm in the summer either.

Misses the mark for curvy gals
Pros: drawstring waist is easy to use. Well made, seems durable. Cons: drawstrings at bottom of pants drag on the ground. Material is heavier weight than I expected. Even when cinching waist in a high rise position, these pants tend to sag down on me. That’s more of a me issue/body size complication of having the middle aged muffin top.

Love! XL please!

Love Love LOVE these pants! The material is a sturdier canvas and still soft and comfortable. So far I've only worn them on dog walks and to work [in a cafe] but I could easily see myself hiking/everythinging in them. I have a smaller waist and curvier hips/thighs and these fit me well, but the drawstring is a must to keep them from gaping at the back (the fit through the leg and hip is similar to the Boulder Pant, but the waist is a little lower and looser.) Being between sizes L and XL, I ultimately had to return these (size L) and seek them elsewhere because I needed the XL which REI does not currently carry. Hoping that will change in the future!

Stretchy and Comfortable

Perfect bouldering pants! I got a slightly smaller fit than I wanted cause I was worried they would be too big, and they still stretch and allow me to move just fine. (5’3, 102 lbs, ordered a size xs)

best pants

These pants are amazing. I wear them constantly - for hiking, foraging and just ever day. They’re super attractive and very very comfortable. I have terrible gastritis and have a hard time with pants on my waist but these are no problem at all, so so comfortable. Plus they’re super high quality!

A great all-around workhorse pair of pants

These pants are great. They are well-constructed and after some tough use I'm confident they'll hold up to what I put them through for a long time. The gusseted crotch is a rare feature for women's pants and makes moving around in them much nicer. The ankle ties in the front are a nice touch that makes them unique from so many other pants of this type. Happy I have them.

my most very favorite pants

I’ve had these for about 5 months now. These are legitimately my favorite pants I’ve ever owned. I wear them to work, hiking, playgrounds with my kids…. EVERYWHERE. I am constantly getting asked what the brand is and where I got them. Please please bring these back and in the other colors!! I promise to buy them all in my size.

Loosening waistband

I'm normally a Medium (size 4) so I hesitated to get the Small, thinking it'd be too tight. Opposite issue--after a couple of wears, the waistband got so loose that they sag down on me no matter what. Even if I tie the drawstring as tightly as possible, they'll loosen and fall, especially if I have anything in my pockets (which is one of the reasons I got these pants--to be able to carry things in my pockets). The drawstrings at the ankles don't change the silhouette enough to justify having to constantly tie them to keep them from dragging on the ground. The pants themselves are comfortable. I think this design would also benefit from some sort of loop, like on the REI Trailmade Pull-on Pants, for attaching keys.

dirtbag girls unite

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these pants are. Not usually one for a tapered fit, but these offer plenty of calf room where others are often too constricting. The fabric is incredible and sold me - I didn't know it was possible for canvas to be so thick, comfortable, sturdy, and stretchy at the same time. My new go-to dirtbag pants for all things: camp breakfast, climbing, late bonfires. No gapping in the waist and they passed the squat test with flying colors. Usually a 14 in jeans and the XL is a perfect fit.

Comfy, loose, and sturdy pants

Love these pants! Have them in black and peppercorn. They are baggy/loose, but drawstrings at waist and ankles allow for secure fits. I'm 5'3", athletic build,, and went for Mediums. They are super comfy, durable, great for everything, and nice thick fabric.
