Bond. Inexpensive viable alternative to the Rebar

Great inexpensive Leatherman. Opened it, oiled it, and worked the pliers and tools in order to break it in before giving it as a gift. As a long time Leatherman fan (since around 1990) I think the Bond is a great inexpensive addition to the line up. Evaluated it against my other leathermans. Its basically a Rebar minus the saw and serrated blade. The Rebar has locking tools, the Bond does not. Rebar has replaceable wire cutters, Bond does not. The Bond will save you $20 over the Rebar and is a little bit lighter. If I could chose one, I would chose the Rebar. If budget and .5 oz are a concern, then the Bond gets the nod.

Amazing value and quality

A fantastic EDC tool with a traditional and timeless look and feel! The value is incredible for what you get. I mostly purchased this to carry into the office so a non-threatening EDC is what I needed, no one is going to feel scared when you have to use two hands to get a blade out to open a box! Add the pocket clip in, and you've got a great set up!
