Great Dog Pack and Harness
This hrness/pack delivered well beyond expectations. Some very well thought out design. Padding is comfortable for my dog, no chafe or raw spots. Once you adjust the strap length for a firm fit, it stays put despite rolling, rubbing and otherwise abusing it. Material, stitching and zippers are great. Fun to see the dog rucking his own bowls, leashes, food, etc. Pleasantly surprised with how this pack looks and performs. You can spend more for much less.

Ugh my dog hates this and I do too
I was really excited about this product but it was a huge disappointment. My dog was dreadfully uncomfortable in it, probably because it was one giant stiff unyielding thing all of a sudden attached to her body. There was no space for it to breathe and she didn't feel like she could even jump up on the bed in it. She just moved around uncomfortably. The color is also awful, I thought it would look cool and stylish but the orange trim clashes with the rust color. I liked the pockets inside the pockets, but that was the ONLY thing I liked. I'm going to return it. I bought her a backpack from Mountainsmith instead (I wish they sold those at REI, that was the only reason I didn't buy that first). She seems much more comfortable in the Mountainsmith one. It's not one solid piece so I think it doesn't feel as constricting on her. It also looks good. She seems able to move in it better and was able to jump onto the bed. I'll update once we take it hiking. The Mountainsmith is also grey with neon orange, so she'll be safer in hunting season.

Tons of storage room.

Great weekend pack for my dog. She is a mixed breed and weighs around 85 lbs. She a longer dog in build. There are many packs out there but this one has tons of storage. She carried 3 days of dog food, treats, dog bowl, and my daughters toaks cook pot, burner and fuel can. Plenty of room and the pack weighed roughly 10lbs.

Outstanding!

Tucker and I are avid hikers and spend many days both on and off trail, in difficult terrain and often in the water. In addition, Tucker is an incessant chewer, and has chewed through two harnesses and one leash in his <1 year of life. I was reluctant to spend this much on a doggie pack but I'm glad I took the chance! He tried to chew it off at first but it's so sturdy he couldn't do it, and once he was used to it, and understood that's where his linch and snacks live, he's fully acclimated and gets excited when I put it on him. It's our go-to harness for all outings, whether in the wilderness or around the block.

Well built pack for dogs

Received free product

Very well built pack for dogs. The bags attached to the waist belt so they don’t flap around when the dog runs. It will withstand the abuse of a large dog pulling all the time. Took Kevin my dog, out in the trail with all his snacks and water bottle for a long hike and is perfect.

Great daypack for an overnight trip!

This is a great pack! It isn’t waterproof, but we got lightly rained on for about 20 minutes and the contents stayed dry. It had ample room to pack about 5 pounds of dog food, a tie out, and collapsible food and water bowls. I think it was around 9 pounds I put in the pack. Everything but the sleeping pad that I carried. I would suggest distributing the weight to make it even. The pack has adjustability to keep the weight close to your dog, which is nice and ergonomic. I was concerned about it fitting my dog because I hadn’t seen any reviews for sizing with very large dogs, but the large/xl size fit my cane corso just fine. He’s about 120 pounds and has a broad chest- it fit great. It’s not very breathable, so it did have to come off when he started getting hot until he cooled down.

Great little pack!

My dog loves it, fits her well. I haven't seen any rub marks and in one week we did over 30 miles. It doesn't fit a ton but it's a great day or overnight pack.

A good durable pack for your pup.

I like most ruffwear stuff. Good size and seems to be strong material. I like the multiple attachment points. My dog generally does not like wearing harnesses but I think the material on the underside is more comfortable for him. Making sure each side has the same weight is key. I really like the way the snap buttons under the bags stabilize them to the side straps.

Great

This pack holds alot of stuff which is nice. The down side to that is it gets lope sided and imbalanced. I'm not sure if there was a smaller one but I think that would have fit my dog better. Would recommend though. Not having to carry all the dogs stuff is a huge plus.
