Average...no complaints.

A piece of Tyvek would have done just as well, but I figured it would be useful if I ever wanted to use the fast pitch feature. It served its purpose well, that is, protecting the bottom of my tent, and really nothing more. Buy if you've got $60 just waiting to be (poorly) spent.

too loose

When assembled with the tent body, the footprint doesn't have enough tension to stay attached to the poles while repositioning the tent. I frequently move the tent slightly searching for the flattest spot before staking it on the ground and it's annoying that the footprint falls off. The solution I found was to twist the footprint and body webbings, i.e., first I attach the footprint grommets to the poles and then the tent body grommets underneath. This prevents the footprint from falling off when I move the tent but it's harder to detach them, especially with wet soil when it rains.

perfect size

This footprint is perfect for the UL1. Only 4 ounces which is light for this type of tent tarp.

Fits the tent perfectly.

I like tyvek as an additional layer of protection in certain places, but nothing beats a footprint that's made to go with a tent. I believe that gear will last much longer the more you care about which in turn means less waste in the landfill. A proper footprint packs a minimal weight penalty to how much longer a tent last when used.
