For NiteRider this seems like a step backwards, it claims 2500lm but after 7 minutes it's at half output and it trips down to super low after just 40 minutes, even riding at high speed it overheats light crazy, good thing I wear gloves when riding. Beam pattern is just a bright yellow spot like a flashlight, not great for trail riding, particularly on the handlebars, needs to be much wider. Build quality is good and USB-C recharge is appreciated, but there are just way better lights on the market for the money.
First ride, battery died after 35 minutes on the medium and high mode. Bluetooth was difficult to set up. I will return the product and look at Light N Motion. What a waste of time.
I just set out tonight for a walk with my dog and took my Lumina Max 2500 flashlight, which I’ve been loving, it’s a great dog walking flashlight. It’s showing 4 stolid green LEDs so I figure we’re good for a short 30 min walk. I had it set to the second to lowest brightness (one click of the low button). Not 10-15 minutes into the walk, I looked down and down and now it’s showing 1 red LED!! It skipped 2 whole LEDs and went straight to red. I switched it to super low mode for the remaining 20 minutes of our walk and thankfully made it home OK. Just as I arrived home and set the flashlight on my porch table, it died altogether. Terrible experience if you can’t trust the LED battery indicator! Definitely going to be returning this!
NiteRider 2500 lumen light is the perfect light for night time rides. You can see the trails and surounding area like its daytime!
