Features

  • 2-layer foam construction is composed of the same type of high-performance polyfoams found in your home mattress
  • Top foam is an engineered, breathable open-cell foam that's not temperature dependent; it's designed for conformation and pressure point relief
  • Bottom foam is a highly resilient foam for ultimate support and body contouring
  • Mattress halves align perfectly when folded and stay in place by 2 sturdy clips; PU-coated nylon bottom folds to the outside, protecting sleep surface from moisture and dirt
  • The split in the middle of the Dually is seamless and virtually unnoticeable when opened, so you won't need to worry about falling into a crack during the night
  • 2 easy-carry handles meet in the middle of the mattress when the Dually is folded in half for transportation/storage; handles are made of durable nylon and sewn into the cover
  • Mattress cover has moisture-wicking stretch nylon twill on top and polyurethane-coated nylon on the bottom; nylon wicks moisture and stretches so foam can contour to your body
  • Mattress cover zips off and allows the foam to be removed so you can wash the cover
  • Pockets located at either end of the mattress offer a place to store your phone, ear plugs, headlamp or other essentials, keeping them handy and off the ground

Disappointed!

I don't know if the reviews are an exaggeration, written by people who laid on it for 2 minutes instead of a full night, or simply written by people who are used to sleeping on the ground. However, after doing extensive research on the reviews for this product on multiple platforms I was certain this mattress would be worth the price and I wouldn't have to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item. Out of the box I let it expand for over 24 hours before I tested it and it is super soft and SEEMS great when you lay on it for the first minute or two. However, if you actually sleep on this a full night you quickly realize this mattress is actually too soft and your main points of pressure are actually resting on the hard ground. I am also not over-weight, I weigh 130 lbs and my back/shoulders and hips were actually on the ground because the foam isn't supportive enough. I know this mattress is only 3.9 inches thick, but after all the good reviews I truly believed this would be supportive enough to get a good nights sleep in our tent. I do believe with a slightly more firm foam or maybe 1 in more of the firmer foam on the bottom this mattress could be worth it. However, there is no way I was going to keep a $500 mattress that hurt my back - I'll stick to my $30 air mattress for that.

Ultimate car camping comfort!

The mattress has met all of our expectations and more. We double this as a small twin mattress on our kids bunk and have now used it a few times - tent camping and screen porch crashing. So comfortable! Having spent my camping life on a thin, compressible pad, this was luxurious. Our only trouble was in transporting the mattress as we have a RAV 4 with kids in the backseat. We have rolled it up and put it into jumbo trash bags and it has worked well. Would highly recommend this product for those of you car camping and looking for ultimate comfort!

This is the best mattress pad you can purchase.

I have a Yoho sleeping platform in my 4Runner and I was looking for the perfect pad to place on top. Best purchase I've made this year. I was on the fence as it seemed expensive for a camping mattress, but this thing is amazing. It's incredibly comfortable, I love that there's no possibility it could pop, and it makes car camping a luxurious option. You can't put a price on a good night's sleep if you're planning on doing strenuous hikes the next day. I have a feeling it will last for at least a decade with proper care.

If only Hest made mattresses for bedrooms...

I have a wedge camper on the bed of my truck. My wife and I used to fit just fine in the bed with our little dog in stow. Once my son came along, we needed a little more space since he obviously dreams of being a professional wrestler every night. I built a platform in the bed and this Hest fits perfectly. I keep it folded up while traveling so that I can fit all our gear, then unfold it when it's time to sleep so that there's enough room for my dog and I. I might have been sent to the "bottom floor" of our camper, but make no mistake, I am NOT in the doghouse. This mattress is almost as comfortable as our very expensive mattress back home. The bed of our wedge camper can't even hold a candle to how comfortable this mattress is. Just don't tell my wife.

Wide Length Sizing Incorrect - Fantastic Mattress

The wide length sizing is incorrect. I measure it at about 70 inches. So the actual size is 70 x 60 inches, not 74 x 60. I ordered the long to compare and will update the review to compare. The strap and clips are very helpful to close it up because it is heavy. I like that idea better than rolling it up because I feel like rolling it up puts more wear and tear on the foam quicker. You just gotta make sure you have the proper space to store it. I'm not sure about the accuracy of the weight because I don't have a proper scale. Besides that, love the mattress and am looking forward to testing it out in my car (2016 Subaru Impreza). Neither fits perfectly into the back but will update you with what plan works better! So far really comfy and looking forward to trying it out!!

The Best Mattress You Can Buy

This is the perfect mattress for camping, I use mine in a AluCab roof top tent and not only does it fit, but it is more comfortable than my mattress at home. I love how it is very soft and cradling, while firm and supportive. Must buy if you are looking for more comfort while camping. Perfect for overloading, car camping, or replacing a mattress in an RV.

van camping dream come true

Stoked to find a memory foam pad that actually holds up in cold temperatures! The foam is so comfortable and the folding design makes it easy to create more storage room when not in use.

Worth every penny

This is awesome! I chose the wide and it’s perfect length for me that is 5’5. Although if you are 6foot or maybe 5’11 the “long” would be best. The thickness is perfect. I take this on a 10 day trip, camped on the ground and my hip is so grateful! It’s wide enough for me, my boyfriend, and my 100lb Rottweiler. Would definitely recommend. It’s a pricey buy, but I’m glad I spent the money.

Perfect for car/van/truck camping!

I love the Dually! We use it in our van and fold it up during the day/while driving to have more space. It’s super low profile but really comfortable and plenty of room for two! I also love the pockets at the top to stash my phone or headlamp. Perfect for car or van camping.
