I bought these skis recently in person. The bindings needed to be ordered. The salesperson directed me to order NNN NIS bindings, which is incorrect. The bindings slide on, but do not click in. The skis (at least my pair) have IFP base plates. This website, including Q&A, is inconsistent or wrong. The fit problem was subtle, and given the website and the sales person were wrong about compatibility, it is possible the tech might have been too. The bindings appear to fit, but without the click they would have come off while I was skiing. Buyer beware. If the website gets updated, let me know and I’ll update my review.
These skis gave me exactly what I was looking for. They are fast and light. My kick is more efficient with these (I cover more ground per stroke) compared with my beginner skis. Waxing these skis is no problem. Just watch one of the many videos out there on waxing skin skis. The skis also look great. I have already recommended these skis to friends.
Combined with the Turnamic Bindings this is best performing set of skid I have owned. And I have owned many. Out side of well waxed ski, the grip and glide with the twin skins is nearly as good.
Fischer quality is horrible and they do not stand by their products. Buy Rossignol, Madhus, anything but Fischer
