These socks are nice and warm. They’re very tall and good compression for all kinds of winter activities. I don’t doubt that these will have any issues keeping up with any of our winter activities.
These blended socks are not itchy. They are comfortable to wear as I am working from home and the days are getting cooler. I do notice the seem across the toes is not very tight. While on my feet, the seem stretches and I can see my skin. This concerns me as I have Raynaud's so I really depend on warm socks! I will be prioritizing my other ski socks when it comes to skiing since I need full coverage warmth, but I can still wear these around the house to keep my feet comfortable during the work-from-home days. I will say that the sock feels thin enough to fit comfortably in shoes and ski boots. My main concern is the durability and warmth with the thin/loose seems.
Living in a state that gets cold in the winter, and being an avid hiker, climber and past snow skier, I do love having a large assortment of wool socks to draw upon. I would never venture into the cold without wool to keep my feet comfortable. This is my first pair that is compression up to knee high, but I must say that I do like them and am contemplating adding another pair or two. By the way they are also very comfortable with my motorcycle boots. With this pair of socks I do appreciate the added padding to the toe, sole and shin areas, not bulky but pleasantly padded. So far they are keeping the elasticity and staying high by my knee, which is very much a plus.
These socks are too long and way too tight on my 14” circumference calves. Need to return them as it’s way too much to put them on (and take them off).
These socks are warm and comfortable and not itchy. They are great for hiking and snowshoeing (now that we are finally getting some snow). They breath well and dry quickly. They have some compression qualities (but not as tight as true compression socks) which sets them apart from some of my other socks. They are comfortable for long days on your feet.
I'm a tightwad. There's no way I'd pay $22 for a pair of socks. Boots felt loose so needed to pick up an extra pair of socks. Bought these. My feet feel so much better! Less sweaty/gamey. Comfortable. Not "scratchey." Will buy some for me "skiing daughter" for Christmas.
These socks are nice but far longer than I anticipated. I must not have read the description well but they come up to my knees. They fit well and are nice wool so work well in my rubber boots to keep my feet warm and dry without smelling.
greats socks. I will say it is a bit tight on the calves and I have quite small calves so may be an issue for some people. Otherwise, beautiful colors and padded in the right places
I bought these to wear while I ride my motorcycle in cold weather. They fit well and are comfortable. They’ve brought my minimum down from 50 degrees to 40.
Great fitting ski socks, perfect length with nice padding for the shins.
