Favorite New Gear (Around the House/Casual Wear or Running)

Awesome too for casual wear AND running. The fit is perfect. I bought two more of them after getting one at a great price on the Winter Sale. Looks good, fits perfect and super soft and comfortable. I wear mine almost every day and I’ve run in them a few times. I had a few of these in a similar style 5-6 years ago that didn’t fit as well (shoulders were cut boxy/strange, but still warm and comfortable for runs), so I was a bit hesitant to order these, but after reading the other reviews I’m very glad I gave it another shot.

Dash for another

This is my second Dash 1/2 zip pull over and I love them! They have a great shape, solid fit, and thumb holes for a little more hand warmth. The material on these is a little thicker than my other pull overs which is perfect for these March/April cooler days. I have been waiting for Black to get back in stock so I can get a third Dash. Note they don't list color names on-line. This Blue was a little brighter than I thought I wanted, but it looks great so I kept it. Very comfortable!!

Dash Half-Zip

I like the jacket but find the fit to be on the slim side even at XL.

1/2 Dash Review

I have 3 of Brooks older style Dash 1/2 zip and absolutely love them. I wear them around the house and even traveling out and about. I decided to go for a 4th and ordered the jasper color. The color is great and was what I expected. The fabric completely changed though from the original version. It’s okay but shows wrinkles and doesn’t have the the same fit. I will admit - if for running only you can’t go wrong. I was looking for more of that hybrid use.

Fits well

Took the sizing information of other reviews and ordered an x-small. I am 5'7" and 115 lbs. The pullover fits just over my head and zips up close around my neck, so others may find it too tight. The thickness is enough for me down to about 45ºF with a long-sleeve t-shirt underneath. It is nicely soft. The thumb holes are fairly comfortable, and the back pocket is handy for my single house key or ID.

Another Winner

This makes two 1/2 zips and loved the first one enough to get this second one albeit a newer and updated model. Love the feel, keeps me warm enough for an early morning run, and yet cool enough that I can wear it for a late afternoon run as well. If it had an area of improvement it would be to add a reflection component to it and/or do more colors that can be seen in the dark.

Dash

Not what I expected. I have other Brooks long sleeve winter running 1/2 zips and thought this was the same. The Brooks logo on the front has a scratchy backing on it so you can’t wear this without another shirt underneath. It is also vented the full length of each side which makes this useless as a warm layer for our mild winter runs in California.

Super soft, great fit, breathes well

Love how soft this is, especially on long runs where I warm up and sometimes worry about chaffing after sweating. Breathes well so I never get too warm. Fits true to size, but I don't layer so maybe consider sizing up if you want as an outer layer. The zipper could go another inch or so lower, but it's not an issue.

Comfy, but poor quality

Just under a month since purchase, the seams are already fraying. While this top is comfortable, I am disappointed with the quality. After just one wash and a couple of wears, I expected better for the price. More stars would have been given if the top had not detoriated after such a short period of time.

Good fit and style

Like everything Brooks I have purchased, this top is perfectly sized and comfortable. Well made. I wear it running, wear it over a t-shirt, and have worn it out to casual dinner. I travel for work and need to be able to pack lite. It is good to have a warm pullover the meets multiple purposes.
